¡Hola Chicos!
Hace algunos días tuvimos una nueva clase en la sede de R5, en esta cuento con 3 alumnos de los cuales dos son hermanos y una es una niña que está en el segundo nivel.
Durante las clases me ha tocado ir trabajando dos temas al mismo tiempo para que la niña pueda avanzar y los niños, por supuesto, puedan ir adquiriendo los conocimientos necesarios para avanzar en este lindo mundo del arte.

A few days ago we had a new class at the R5 headquarters, in this one I have 3 students of which two are brothers and one is a girl who is in the second level.
During the classes I have had to work on two subjects at the same time so that the girl can advance and the boys, of course, can acquire the necessary knowledge to advance in this beautiful world of art.
La clase comenzó una hora más temprano, pues la idea era salir antes ya que tenía otros pendientes que hacer. Estuve alrededor de unos 40 minutos esperando, definitivamente mis planes no se iban a dar como quería...
Luego por fin llegaron los niños. Ambos tenían el cabello pintado de azul y no tenía ni idea de por que motivo era pero se veían muy chistosos.
Al hablar con ellos me comentaron que tenían una fiesta de revelación de sexo cuando salieran de la clase, y pues era más que evidente que ellos eran del "team boy" jajaja.
Comenzamos a trabajar con el tema del día, que en su caso era las figuras geométricas y trabajar una composición con dichas figuras.
The class started an hour earlier, as the idea was to leave earlier since I had other things to do. I was waiting for about 40 minutes, my plans were definitely not going to go as I wanted....
Then the kids finally arrived. They both had their hair painted blue and I had no idea why but they looked very funny.
When I talked to them they told me that they were having a sex reveal party when they got out of class, and it was more than evident that they were the "team boy" hahaha.
We started working with the theme of the day, which in their case was geometric shapes and working on a composition with those shapes.
Al rato llegó la niña, que no se había enterado que las clases comenzaban a las 3 en lugar de las 4 de la tarde.
Con ella estuve trabajando lo que es la luz y la sombra en el dibujo. Le presté unos lápices de dibujo y ella estuvo trabajando en los degradados.
Por otro lado con los niños la idea era que trabajaran rápido con la primera actividad, que era hacer 3 dibujos de objetos circulares, cuadrados y triangulares.
Ellos se tomaron su buen tiempo para hacerlo y algo que si no me pareció del todo bien, es que solían hacer casi las mismas cosas.
Por ejemplo, el más pequeño hizo una pizza, el grande lo vio e hice lo mismo. Esto es un poco malo pues no desarrollan su creatividad propia y tienden a hacer todo en conjunto.
Ellos deben desarrollar sus propias habilidades por individual.
Otro tema súper controversial es que siempre terminan haciendo algo referente a un juego, que no está del todo mal, pero se nota que los niños han dejado de observar su entorno y están más centrados en el mundo digital.
After a while the girl arrived, who had not found out that classes started at 3 o'clock instead of 4 o'clock in the afternoon.
I was working with her on light and shadow in drawing. I lent her some drawing pencils and she was working on the gradients.
On the other hand, with the children the idea was to work quickly with the first activity, which was to make 3 drawings of circular, square and triangular objects.
They took their time to do it and something that didn't seem quite right to me was that they used to do almost the same things.
For example, the smallest one made a pizza, the big one saw it and I did the same. This is a bit bad because they don't develop their own creativity and tend to do everything together.
They should develop their own skills individually.
Another super controversial issue is that they always end up doing something related to a game, which is not all bad, but it shows that children have stopped observing their environment and are more focused on the digital world.
Ya luego estuvieron trabajando con una composición donde ocurrió lo mismo que les comenté anteriormente. El pequeño tuvo la idea de hacer una galaxia y el más grandecito quiso hacer exactamente lo mismo.
Se los dejé pasar por esta vez pero en la próxima clase no se repetirá pues quiero que cada uno se desarrolle por individual.
Con la pequeña luego de terminar con el tema de las luces y sombras, estuvimos trabajando con un boceto. Ella no quiso que tomara fotos del resultado porque le apenaba un poco, así que lo respeté.
Then they were working with a composition where the same thing happened as I mentioned before. The little one had the idea of making a galaxy and the older one wanted to do exactly the same thing.
I let them pass this time but in the next class it will not be repeated because I want each one to develop individually.
With the little one, after finishing with the theme of lights and shadows, we were working with a sketch. She didn't want me to take pictures of the result because she was a little embarrassed, so I respected that.
A pesar de que la clase terminaba a las 5, los papás de los niños no llegaron sino hasta las 6 de la tarde 🤦♀.
Me tocó posponer mis planes, pero lo importante es que se llevó a cabo la clase.

De verdad que el trabajar con niños es algo muy bonito, yo no he trabajado asi pero si tengo un hermano y aunque aveces me saque canas siempre es increible verlo trabajar.
