Visiting Cabarete - Restaurant "Tauras" [ESP/ENG]

Cuando se trata de visitar un nuevo lugar, nunca me voy a negar, amo la cultura de Colombia y sus cosas que tiene para ofrecer. Hay tantas cosas nuevas aquí, que de a poco voy descubriendo y me doy cuenta lo increibles que son. Este sábado, tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar por primera vez un Cabarete, su nombre es Tauras y un espacio muy bonito inspirado en los años 80. Nos encantó el sitio, está ubicado cerca del Parque del Poblado y su temática es increible. No es que comúnmente visitamos sitios así, en esta oportunidad fué una invitación por parte del jefe de José, quien estaba de cumpleaños y quiso celebrarlo aquí. Un sitio donde puedes disfrutar de bebidas excelentes mientras ves diferentes shows y escuchas buena música.

When it comes to visiting a new place, I will never say no, I love the culture of Colombia and the things it has to offer. There are so many new things here, that I am slowly discovering and realizing how amazing they are. This Saturday, we had the opportunity to visit for the first time a Cabarete, its name is Tauras and a very nice space inspired by the 80s. We loved the place, it is located near the Poblado Park and its theme is incredible. We don't usually visit places like this, this time it was an invitation from José's boss, who had a birthday and wanted to celebrate it here. A place where you can enjoy excellent drinks while watching different shows and listening to good music.

Nosotros llegamos después de las 2 de la tarde puesto que el evento era de 2 a 7 pm, cuando llegamos, ya habian varias personas allí. El jefe de José había pagado ciertos tipos de bebidas que podiamos tomar de manera ilimitada tales como; cerveza, whisky, sodas, refrescos y agua. Además de eso, disfrutaríamos de un grupo de rock y también habrían algunos aperitivos que estaban para chuparse los dedos. El lugar es un poco obscuro, pero no es un problema para haberlo disfrutado, la verdad un lugar que tiene 10/10 en su puntuación porque hasta la atención fué maravillosa.

We arrived after 2 pm since the event was from 2 to 7 pm, when we arrived, there were already several people there. Jose's boss had paid for certain types of drinks that we could drink unlimited such as; beer, whiskey, sodas, soft drinks and water. On top of that, we would enjoy a rock band and there would also be some finger licking appetizers. The place is a little dark, but it is not a problem to have enjoyed it, the truth is a place that has 10/10 in its score because even the attention was wonderful.

La decoración me encantó, las chicas que atienden estan vestidas con un estilo un tanto atrevido, puesto que esa es la temática del cabarete. Esto último no es una cosa mala, ellas son muy amables y respetuosas, estuvieron siempre pendientes de que bebidas queríamos y si necesitabamos alguna cosa más. La verdad me alegra haber tenido la oportunidad de disfrutar de un sitio así. Su licor distintivo es el whisky, sin embargo yo decidí disfrutar de una deliciosa soda de sandía y maracuya, además de una fría cerveza llamada Club Colombia, la cual es muy reconocida aquí.

I loved the decoration, the girls who serve are dressed in a somewhat daring style, since that is the theme of the cabarete. The latter is not a bad thing, they are very friendly and respectful, they were always aware of what drinks we wanted and if we needed anything else. I'm really glad I had the opportunity to enjoy a place like this. Their signature liquor is whiskey, however I decided to enjoy a delicious watermelon and passion fruit soda, as well as a cold beer called Club Colombia, which is very well known here.

Cuando la banda llegó, empezó a tocar música tanto en inglés como en español puesto que el jefe de José es gringo y ama el rock, debo agregar que el ambiente estuvo muy bueno gracias a estos cantantes que lo animaron de manera maravillosa. Fué una tarde bastante especial y nosotros estabamos listos esperando los aperitivos puesto que no habíamos almorzado, cuando empezaron a repartir, disfrutamos de deliciosas alitas bbq, tacos, copas de plátano y unas exquisitas empanadas con excelente sabor. Tanto los tacos como las empanadas y las copitas de plátano tenían carne, pollo y atún.

When the band arrived, they started playing music in both English and Spanish since Jose's boss is gringo and loves rock, I must add that the atmosphere was very good thanks to these singers who animated it in a wonderful way. It was a very special evening and we were ready waiting for the appetizers since we had not had lunch, when they started to hand out, we enjoyed delicious bbq wings, tacos, banana cups and delicious empanadas with excellent flavor. The tacos, empanadas and banana cups had beef, chicken and tuna.

Después de un rato, comenzarón los shows, el bartender sirviendo tracos con ciertas acrobacias que nos dejaron impactados. Además las chicas nos mostraron show de pole dance, telas y baile los cuales estuvieron increibles también. Todo salió perfecto, todos estabamos contentos con el evento, los shows, el sitio, la comida y los tragos. Había mucha comida para todos los invitados. Todo tenía muy buen sabor. Definitivamente es un buen ambiente para compartir con amigos y celebar una fiesta de cumpleaños o algún evento especial, a mi parecer, el sitio queda perfecto para este tipo de cosas. Es fabuloso.

After a while, the shows began, the bartender serving tracos with some acrobatics that left us shocked. In addition the girls showed us pole dance, fabrics and dance shows which were also incredible. Everything went perfect, we were all happy with the event, the shows, the place, the food and the drinks. There was plenty of food for all the guests. Everything tasted great. It is definitely a good environment to share with friends and celebrate a birthday party or any special event, in my opinion, the place is perfect for this kind of things. It is fabulous.

Allí arriba les muestro un poco de las empanadas que comí y las bebidas que tuve la oportunidad de tomar en la fiesta. Sus ingredientes son de calidad así que vale la pena los precios del sitio. En este caso, nosotros no tuvimos que pagar nada puesto que fuimos invitados. Además el lugar es bastante fresco, es decír, no hay nada de que preocuparse aquí. Above I show you some of the empanadas I ate and the drinks I had the opportunity to have at the party. Their ingredients are quality so it is worth the prices of the place.
