Les cuento que aquí en Medellín ha estado lloviendo mucho, sin embargo, eso no impide visitar lugares increibles el fin de semana o al menos un lugar que no habiamos visitado antes y pensamos que por el hecho de ser una terraza gastronómica, sería una excelente idea. Así que ayer, decidimos salir de casa en un taxi camino al Amsterdam Plaza, salimos en busca de mi restaurante favorito de sushi. Si les soy honesta, me encantó, el lugar es hermoso. Esta terraza está llena de restaurantes muy buenos, la comida te la llevan a tu mesa rápidamente, y encuentras de todo tipo de comida

Hello everyone, I hope your week has been going great. I tell you that here in Medellin it has been raining a lot, however, that does not prevent us from visiting amazing places on the weekend or at least one place that we had not visited before and we thought that because it is a gastronomic terrace, it would be an excellent idea. So yesterday, we decided to leave the house in a cab on our way to Amsterdam Plaza, we went in search of my favorite sushi restaurant. If I'm honest, I loved it, the place is beautiful. This terrace is full of very good restaurants, the food is delivered to your table quickly, and you find all kinds of food.

Desde que llegamos al Amsterdam Plaza, quedé impactada con lo lindo y activo que es. Todo el mundo va vestido muy elegante y disfrutan con la familia completa de buena comida en restaurantes muy deliciosos. Por mi parte, yo iba en búsqueda del restaurante llamado Akashi puesto que estaba antojada de sushi. Este restaurante es mi favorito y no me aburriria de comer allí. Como yo sabía que este restaurante lo encontraba en esta terraza, pensamos que sería la oportunidad perfecta para conocer el sitio.

From the moment we arrived at the Amsterdam Plaza, I was impressed with how nice and active it is. Everyone is dressed up and enjoying good food in delicious restaurants with the whole family. As for me, I was looking for the restaurant called Akashi since I was craving for sushi. This restaurant is my favorite and I would not get bored eating there. Since I knew that this restaurant was located on this terrace, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get to know the place.

Como teniamos hambre, pensamos que sería perfecto comer y luego seguir dando vueltas en la terraza para descubrirla completamente. Sin embargo, mientras buscabamos el restaurante de sushi, no pude contenerme y aproveché de tomar algunas fotos. Algo que no me sorprendió es el frío que hace, estaba sabroso pero como no llevé un abrigo, estaba muriendome del frío puesto que el clima estaba lluvioso, así que la próxima vez debo tener en cuenta esto con el outfit que vaya a usar.

As we were hungry, we thought it would be perfect to eat and then continue walking around the terrace to discover it completely. However, while we were looking for the sushi restaurant, I couldn't help myself and took the opportunity to take some pictures. Something that didn't surprise me is the cold weather, it was tasty but as I didn't bring a coat, I was freezing to death as the weather was rainy, so next time I must take this into account with the outfit I'm going to wear.

La chica que nos atendió, nos ofreció la carta y nos iba dando recomendaciones sobre los platos que ordenamos. Me ofreció sangría de bebidas y la verdad es que no pude resistirme, hace mucho rato no me tomaba una pero olvidé qué debía tomarla lentamente y me mareé. José ordenó el rollo llamado tiger y yo ordené el dragon y la verdad su elección estuvo excelente y la mia ni hablar, es mi favorita por el toque picante que tiene la salsa, la combinación perfecta con todo lo que incluye el rollo.

The girl who served us offered us the menu and gave us recommendations about the dishes we ordered. She offered me a sangria drink and the truth is that I couldn't resist, I hadn't had one for a long time but I forgot to drink it slowly and I got dizzy. Jose ordered the tiger roll and I ordered the dragon and the truth is that his choice was excellent and mine was not even close, it is my favorite because of the spicy touch of the sauce, the perfect combination with everything included in the roll.

Algo que me encanta mucho es la presentación que le dan a sus platos, siento que se ve fenomenal. El lugar, el clima, la bebida y la comida fué la combinación perfecta de viernes por la noche. La sangría estaba exquisita con buenas frutas y muy buen servida. Al terminar de comer, decidimos caminar y dar vueltas por la terraza para ver qué otros restaurantes encontrabamos allí. Definivitamente un lugar que hay que visitar ya que encuentras de todo para los distintos gustos y así no tienes que preocuparte por si alguna persona no quiere comer lo mismo que tu.

Something I really love is the presentation they give to their dishes, I feel it looks phenomenal. The place, the weather, the drink and the food was the perfect Friday night combination. The sangria was exquisite with good fruits and very well served. When we finished eating, we decided to walk around the terrace to see what other restaurants we could find there. Definitely a place to visit as you find everything for different tastes and you don't have to worry about someone not wanting to eat the same as you.

Aquí en Amsterdam, también encuentras algunas tiendas de ropa y zapatos, no son muchas pero las necesarias, también observé una farmacia y por supuesto por si buscas un postre, aquí está crepes & waffles y pércimon. Es un lugar que hay que visitar si o si, si vienen a Medellín. Nosotros quedamos encantados con lo hermoso que es y todo lo encuentras aquí. Eso fué todo por hoy, espero que les haya gustado. Here in Amsterdam, you also find some clothing and shoe stores, not many but the necessary, I also noticed a pharmacy and of course if you are looking for a dessert, here is crepes & waffles and pércimon.
