The Sealgairean's Sword 6

As they both got there within seconds, Williams immediately let Aileana down but supported her from falling as she swayed a little off-balance from the impact of the high-speed run. She immediately stabled herself and said to Williams, " before you do that again take my permission?". Williams replied, " I am sorry I donna mean to do that, but I cannot stand watching while the people we have an alliance with get hurt or get into trouble,"

Elias gestured for Aileana and Williams to come closer to where he was standing with the crowd and other vampire armies close to the city gate. The armies made way for Aileana and Williams to pass through when she began to notice that some Sealgaireans were sobbing. Immediately, she said, "What is going on Elias? why is everyone…".

"O mo Dhia, Chan eil! Chan urrainn dha a bhith papa! Chan eil!" (Oh my God, No!, it can't be papa! No!). She said as she saw her Father's body in pieces inside a duffle bag with a note on top of it. She went to her knees and picked up the note, with trembling hands. She opened it and the message which was written in Scottish Gaelic,

"Bu chòir seo a bhith na rabhadh mura toir thu claidheamh an t-seula dhomh, bidh an fheadhainn eile an ath rud"! Which translates to "This should serve as a warning that if you don't bring me the sealgairean's sword, the others will be next!".

Williams quickly signaled for Elias so that both of them can take away Aileana's father's body to be buried properly. She was crying bitterly when she told Elias, "I still need more time with my father before we do his burial rites, please". Elias replied, "I will make sure of it, Aileana. Would you please go back to your quarters now?" she responded with a shallow face, "Elias, I am too weak, I can't go away when I need my Father, I don't think I can lead the sealgairean clan all by myself, I need him". She said as she began to sob painfully because the mantle of leadership had fallen on her shoulders with the death of her father, Donald, the chief of the Sealgaireans clan.

So Williams opted to take her back to her apartment. He picked her up from the ground into his arms, then Elias warned him, "if you dare touch her, I will make sure I hunt you down with my life, get it?". Then Elias gestured for Williams to take her away and they both left in a boost of speed. Getting to her quarters, Williams gently kept on her feet and went to the small kitchen to make her drink that would calm her.

"I don't need any drink please and I would like to be alone?" Aileana said

"Alright, but I will be outside your quarters in case you need anything" Williams said.

"No! That will not be necessary. I don't need anyone to babysit me, especially not you!"

"Did you think that you would scare me away? "

Shaking with rage, loss, and pain, Aileana yelled at Williams to leave her quarters and not return. In a boost of movement, Williams left Aileana like he was never there in the first place. Blinking away the pool of tears from her eyes she sank into her sofa and began to cry bitterly. Thinking of how she would lead the Sealgairean clan, she began to see herself as a failure. How can she do it without her father to see her through. The pain of her father's death was like a thousand needles piercing her heart, more hot tears streaming down her cheeks as she try to feel herself breathing, but all she felt was emptiness.

Looking around her quarters she saw the portrait of her father on the wall, so she went to look at it more closely and look into the face that she will never see again. Thinking back to the last word he said to her,

"Hey! be safe my dear and always watch your back! Also, get your head out of the clouds"

Hearing those words resound back in her head, Aileana screamed bitterly as she forcefully brought her father's portrait down to destroy it, then an animal skin pouch fell off from the portrait. Squatting down to pick up the pouch, she tried to open it, but it wouldn't open. Properly studying the pouch, she saw some words written in Scottish Gaelic on one side of the pouch and it said,

"An dìomhair gun innse anns a bheil am mapa chun a' chlaidheimh. Is ann dìreach tro fhuil chinnidh Sealgairean a dh'fhoillsichear an dìomhair"

Which translates

"The undisclosed secret containing the map to the sword. The secret will only be revealed through the blood of a Sealgairean clan"

Aileana brought out her pocket knife and slashed her left palm. As her blood was about to drop, as she quickly placed the skin pouch under her palm for her blood to drop on the pouch. A few of her blood drops and the skin pouch opened to reveal an old map leading to where the Sealgairean's Sword is hidden.
