Hello everyone!
I don't really like yellow flowers in bouquets. But those that grow on the street, in flower beds, in parks are very pleasing. They create a sunny wonderful mood even in cloudy weather.
Deciding to create a selection of yellow flowers, both recently photographed and from the archive, I ended up finding over 250 pictures in the folder. With a huge effort of will, I made another selection. Left a little - 97 pictures. :) In desperation, I randomly chose 17 of them and stopped there.
2011. So, I'll start with yellow tulips against the backdrop of the triumphal arch in Schönbrunn, Austria. April 2011

Let's go back to our native land. Mother-and-stepmother for me is a sure sign of the coming spring. After this year very snowy and cold winter, in April I looked out for these little suns in the withered grass. On April 14, they finally pleased me.

But these flowers, aren't they very similar to the previous ones? Surprisingly, plants that are completely exotic for us, related to succulents, bloom in this way. These are lithops, which are popularly called living stones.

And paired with them are such small yellow flowers. To be honest, I don't know exactly what kind of flower it is. Perhaps one of the buttercups.

I also photographed these Forsythia flowers this May. A very beautiful ornamental shrub in the spring is covered with bright yellow flowers, quite large for bushes.

One of the most famous yellow flowers is sunflowers. In the Moscow region, they are not industrially grown, but can be found as decorative flowers. Here is a couple peeking out from behind a fence in a country house in September 2017.

Surprisingly, this fluffy miracle is also a sunflower. Decorative look Teddy bear. I saw these flowers in the flower garden of the estate of A.P. Chekhov Melikhovo in September 2016.

Marigolds are very common decorative flowers, often found in flower beds. But such beautiful specimens of yellow marigolds have rarely come across to me. And I saw them in the usual courtyard of my city in August 2018.

At the exhibition of irises in the Aptekarsky garden in Moscow in 2016 there were, of course, wonderful varieties of yellow.

It's time to stop. I finish with the queen of flowers - a rose. I photographed these wonderful yellow roses on a small island on a lake in the Bavarian Alps in 2012.

Thank you for entering the competition.
Yellow as far as the eye can see :-)

Next time it would probably be more appropriate to use fewer pictures and write a little more about individual flowers :-)

I thought and I want to defend my concept. Amazing nature is not only natural science knowledge, but also a great aesthetic pleasure. This post of mine was compiled precisely from the point of view of aesthetics, I wanted to show the amazing variety of forms of beautiful flowers.
Therefore, I did not seek to tell in detail about each flower (although I named almost all of them).
Perhaps this is not very suitable for this competition ...

In terms of competition rules, your article is in perfect order. Because it's an "open competition", it's up to you how you write your article.
In both ANC competitions (FREE TOPIC and Thematic Challenge), emphasis is placed on the equal representation of text and photos. Please keep in mind that we are not a photo contest and sometimes many photos make the text confusing.
That's why I reacted the way I did.
However, I did not mean to say that your article is "bad". I hope that we will continue to see your articles among the contestants.
