Эту фотографию я сняла 8 апреля 2018г. у себя на балконе. Начало апреля – это ранняя весна, ни цветов, ни бабочек на улице ещё нет. Но солнце уже пригревает. И на балконе я обнаружила эту красавицу. I took this photo on April 8, 2018. on your balcony. The beginning of April is early spring, there are no flowers or butterflies on the street yet. But the sun is already warming up. And on the balcony I found this beauty.
Это распространённая у нас бабочка. Она называется крапивница (лат. Aglais urticae, =Nymphalis urticae) — дневная бабочка из семейства Нимфалиды (Nymphalidae). This is a common butterfly in our places. It is called small tortoiseshell (lat. Aglais urticae, = Nymphalis urticae) - a diurnal butterfly from the Nymphalidae family.
У крапивниц бывает летом два поколения. Вот те, что выходят из куколок ближе к осени прячутся куда-то в укромные места, зимуют в спячке, а весной, когда солнышко пригревает, просыпаются. Эта бабочка перезимовала на моём балконе. Она была ещё довольно вялая, поэтому я спокойно сфотографировала её. The small tortoiseshell has two generations in the summer. Here are those that come out of the pupae closer to autumn, hide somewhere in secluded places, hibernate for the winter, and wake up in the spring, when the sun warms up. This butterfly overwintered on my balcony. She was still quite lethargic, so I calmly took a picture of her.
