Crafting Magic: The Ocean Female Healer Necklace for My Baby Sister"

Hello everyone,

Happy Sunday to you all,

It's Sunday and it's a day for relaxation and enjoyment. Spending time with family and friends. So this afternoon I embarked on a creative journey making a personal necklace for my baby sister. This necklace is inspired by the essence of the ocean and the nurturing spirit of a female healer. You might be wondering why I had to do the female healer necklace because we are women supporting women.
The journey of making this craft wasn't just about making jewelry, it was just my little way of expressing love and the deep connection I share with my baby sister.

The conception and inspiration behind the necklace was drawn from the serenity of a female healer, which signifies strength, wisdom and compassion. This simple act that I did would not only be visually appealing but also carry symbolic meaning, serving as a source of comfort and positive energy for my baby sister.

Choosing Materials

So I needed something that would last for sometime. I carefully selected my materials for the necklace, since my choice was the ocean-themed elements like aquamarine, so everything needed to be green, claiming and representing the properties of the sea.

Crafting the Pendant

The centerpiece of the necklace is a handcrafted pendant. This is where the whole idea lies. I used the leather to carefully draw out the pendant on the leather, then I carefully used the scissor to cut it out. The design aimed to capture the essence of nurturing energy. I went further to coloring the pendant with light green till I got my desired texture then I exposed it to direct sunlight to dry it up. When it was dried I started fixing my beads to it using the fishing tape. I still got the desired length for my little sister.Choosing a suitable closure for the necklace was a thoughtful process. When I was done I went to her to reveal the gift and she was so happy. Her eyes lit up with joy and surprise as she delicately held the necklace in her hands.
Hope this little piece serves as a reminder to all of us of our connection with each other.
