I quit job hunting.
So, after my graduation from secondary School, I was excited that I was going to enter the University immediately after my secondary School little did I know that it isn't that easy.
Sooo,after writing my first jamb, I had a good score and I felt that am already in University.
That was how I wrote jamb 2 good times and finally I got the admission but the starting was also the problem.due to strike they had to prolong our set so I decided to start job hunting.
I had of a school that needed a good teacher,since I was desperately in need of this job i decided to for it,not asking how much the salary was,not even considering the environment I accepted to teach with immediate effect.
The funniest part of it was that the owner of the school which was a woman didn't even ask for my CV or my teaching experiences,she just told me to start the job the following day.I was kind of shocked because have never met anyone who will just qualify anyone just like.
Reaching the school on Monday the first thing I discovered was that the school doesn't allow anyone to wear shoes inside the classes.
I was just about entering inside the class when I heard someone screamed "dare not come inside with your shoes,drop them outside"I was shocked that the had a shoes room.
Well, reaching there I saw that this thing wasn't applicable to only teachers but also to both pupils and students.
I was really shock because have never seen or heard it before.
Ok,I took that one as nothing, reaching Inside each classrooms I saw a rubber and everyone was gathered there washing their legs,I was contemplating didn't we come from the house??our legs are already clean so why dis renewal.
And I heard one student telling me that this is what they do everyday.
I decided to wash my legs too without asking about it from the staffs.
I was showed my classroom which I quickly prayed before doing anything.
I started teaching which is something I enjoy doing best,then the bell rang and school was over around 2pm.majority of the students and pupils went home so why can't the teachers and staff go.
We were asked to just stay in school till 6pm without doing any relevant thing
I was wondering how did I managed to get involved in this mess,I started feeling very inconvenient and uncomfortable,I felt something wasn't right about this school.
Immediately wen I reached home I was so tired and weak
I have never in my entire life felt this way before.
Even my parents were shocked seeing me lying down so helpless,they couldn't help it and they only thing they said to me was that the warned me about going in search of job especially places where I didn't Have any idea about and the funniest thing was that our salaries wasn't even discussed so I felt the was something fishy about this school.
I told my pastor about it and he screamed and ask me to stop going there that am about getting initiated into something I don't know about.
And the school didn't have much people there
It was only people who understood the language there.
After that day,I fell so sick and I knew I wasn't myself that wasn't my body.but I went through it and am okay now
But when I recovered I was very unhappy after having such a horrible experience of job hunting I decided to quit anything about job and stay at home.
The reason I want the job so badly was because I needed money desperately
In the process of staying at home I met my boss who introduced me to hive,he told me of how far he has gone on hive and the money he has been making
I determined that I am going to make it through #hive,so he thought me every single thing I needed to know and today am loving hive, because am earning everyday with it.
How has it affected me, positive or negative
It affected me in both ways.
