Ladies Of Hive Contest #65: my most embarrassing moment.
Good evening wonderful people of this community and a special thanks to @ladiesofhive for this funny and interesting topic.
Well there are lot of times I get embarrassed but, this one was really really embarrassing.
I am opportuned to be the music director of my church and also the director in all the branches of my church.i always lead in song as the director.
So this faithful morning we were having a combined service which all the branches of my church will attend, my general overseas,guest minister and lot of dinitries were all present. It was a full loaded service and a day I will not quickly forget soon.
So has the head quarter church we were supposed to minister a special song before the preacher steps on the platform to preach, it was just a normal and simple song we didn't even do practice that much since it was a simple song and I just believe it simple so I can lead. Guess what hmmm😭😭😭😭😭
When it was time for us to sing I step out I was looking beautifully 🥰🥰 dressed,posh on my heels infact I was looking wow.
Hmmm I was shock that after shouting praise the Lord I was unable to remember not even one line of the song I was just shouting Parise the Lord hallelujah just that until my assistant had to come and take over from me hmmm😭😭😭😭 you need to see the embarrassment infact embarrassment is an understatement, I was not comfortable again through out the service I feel like the ground should open and swallow me you needed to see me, people were just starring at me Even my pastor, I could tell the disappointment in his face, my conscience what not even letting me rest hmmm😭😭 I was too too troubled
After the service to go round and greet people has usual was another problem I was just forming busy with my phone I could not stand up and go I had to wait till people became less before I went home even at that still with shame and embarrassed.
That unforgettable experience thought me a lesson of not to depend on my self but the holy Spirit.

I completely understand! I lead worship at my church as well, and some years ago, I can remember singing the words to one song, but to a melody of another with the same chord progression!🙀 Ironically, the people went along with me until I had a fit of giggles and called for a 'do over'! Another time, I was looking at the screen in the back for the worship team with the lyrics and sang line 2 and 4 and then 1 and 3, even though they were on the screen correctly! How I managed that one, I'll never know!
I like to say when these things happen......'it's worship LIVE- not Memorex'. God understands, and you were praising Him! That's what really counts! Take care and thanks for sharing!

Oh dear I am sorry but I laughed at the blog, its embarrassing but you did grow from it right and you were with like minded people so that’s great
