The Holiday Prank That Fooled Me: A Tale of Friendship and Surpris

Hello everyone, happy weekend to you. How are you doing? Trust you're having a beautiful weekend.

There is this prank my dear friend played on me that I will never forget. it was one of the holidays, usually holiday are times for joy laughter and moment we should cherish it with friends and family. I am my friend we have been planning for her to come over to spend the holiday with me in my place, normally we all know how the feeling is when it comes to holiday time is full with anticipation and excitement, for me I was so eager waiting to spend quality time with her, get to gist and laugh.

Just the exalt day I was expecting her to come I received a text message in my WhatsApp app from this my wonderful friend telling me she's about taking off from the b
park, so I was excited I rush from my mum shop down to the house to keep my room tidy, I arrange everything made the house look very nice in anticipation of our coming.

Due to the distance between us, it's supposed to be a joining of 4 to 5 hours, within this time as I was constantly speaking with her over the phone and she was replying and responding each bus stop, state she's crossing and Rivers she was passing I was so excited that I will get to see my friend. However the time went off I started thinking and I was doubting her what's happening was asking now where are you are you close I really sparked are you guys now?

Just by evening as when I thought my friend has finally arrived my state I received a phone call and it was my friend laughing uncontrollable over the phone telling me April fool I was so surprised and helpless I forgot we were in the month of April which we normally do April fools are friends and love ones just a prank can people love I never knew this was all she was cooking all this while the visit was nothing but a prank.

For a moment I could not help but burst into laughter I was so shock of the dedication the seriousness I have put into arranging my room putting things in order I even went for like telling my mum and my siblings that my best friend is coming over and we were all were excited some preparations were made just to receiver, just to realize that it was all a prank. well at the end I was relieved of the anxiousness I just knew that as friends we got our self regardless of anything.

Well I learnt some lessons anyway I learnt to always put my emotions no matter the situation and I also learnt to value and respect the friendship we have. I get to see the importance of laughter and the beauty that comes with surprises and an unexpected event.
