A one day visit to my hometown.

Hello, everyone!

I haven't written a lengthy post on this blog in a long time. I became so preoccupied with my responsibilities as a mother of two boys. And my workload increased as the face-to-face classes began.Also, my husband's grandmother was here for a few months and was too old, so she needed to be closely monitored. Other things must also be prioritized.

My husband's grandmother was recently picked up by her son and returned to Sorsogon province, where she had previously resided, and I was fortunate to have some extra time now to write and share something with you.

Just a week ago, I felt like I needed some "me" time—time to relax, unwind, and let go of some stress. Also, I miss my parents and my hometown, so I decided to talk to my husband about allowing me to visit for at least one day.

In the end, my husband agreed. So I dressed up, packed a few things, and waited for the bus. On the way to my hometown, I was so tired inside the bus that I didn't notice the beautiful scenery along the way.

When I arrived at our house, I ate my lunch while chatting with my mother. I decided to go to a nearby beach in the afternoon. I just missed the sound of the waves and the stunning scenery.

And I finally "sea yeah". LOL. There were numbers of people fishing on the port when i arrived.

There were also children playing on the beach.

I stayed for over an hour just watching the waves. I felt at ease. It's wonderful to have this kind of alone time.

The golden sky captivated me as I returned home. The sun had just set, and I was fortunate to have caught the golden hour.
I stayed outside for a few more minutes, waiting for Mr. Moon.

And here he is. While I was gazing up at the moon, I came to a realization.

"There will be times in our lives when we feel completely exhausted. We are just regular people who get tired physically, mentally, and emotionally. We have our own battles to fight—a silent battle that we fight alone. We feel like we have too much baggage, which can be very depressing at times. We can take a break and rest if necessary, but we must never give up! We should never give up, no matter how difficult our problems are or how difficult the journey is."
