This morning suddenly I want to eat black sticky rice porridge. I usually buy this porridge when I'm on vacation and visit an Indonesian food shop in Taipei. However, since I haven't had a vacation in a long time, I didn't buy it.

With a traditional recipe, I intend to make black sticky rice porridge for breakfast. I went to the market to buy the ingredients. Making this porridge is not too difficult, and the ingredients needed are also not too many. In my opinion, this food can be used as a delicious, practical, and economical dessert.

Ingredients that we need



Let's join the fun of making "Black Glutinous Rice Porridge for my Breakfast"!!!.

Necessary materials

• 700 grams of black glutinous rice
• 40 grams palm sugar (depend you like sweet or not)
• 150 ML coconut milk
• 1 teaspoons salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 pieces pandan leave
• 2 tablespoons tapioca flour
• Water

Step 1: Soak the black glutinous rice for 5 hours, to make it softer when cooked

Step 2: Boiled the black glutinous rice 40-50 minutes until cooked

Step 3: Add palm sugar depend on your tasted

How to cook Black Glutinious rice porridge

• Soak the black glutinous rice for 5 hours, to make it softer when cooked
• Cook enough water, add pandan leaves
• Enter the black glutinous rice that has been washed clean
• Add salt and vanilla for taste and aroma
• Cook about 40-50 minutes
• Add palm sugar
• Turn off the stove set aside

Coconut milk makes more creamy and soft



How to cook Coconut Milk

• Cook water and coconut milk over low heat
• Add pandan leaves to make it fragrant
• Add salt and vanilla
• Add Tapioca flour to make thick

Serving method

• Put the black glutinous rice porridge in the bowl
• Add coconut milk

This black sticky rice porridge is very delicious eaten either warm or cold. You can also store it in the refrigerator to cool when enjoyed. This food can also be used as income to sell. The dose of Palm sugar can be made according to taste. Because I do not like sweet, so I reduce the sugar.
