CHRISTMAS HANGOUT IN CHURCH, weekend experience 184

It is so good to serve in his presence, today is the workers' hangout in church, and the pastor celebrated all the workers by putting their effort into growing the house of the Lord.

At first, I thought it would just be mere talk and everyone dismissed, when we finished the Sunday service and the pastor summoned all the workers to wait after the service, we had a brief meeting with my department which is the follow-up team, we are in charge of the new worshippers and we collect their data and also put a call through to them during the week to know how they are doing and hope to see them the next Sunday.

After our brief meeting, I saw the decorating department re-arranging the church for the hangout, that was when I knew that it is not a small thing today

After the arrangements, we all settled down and the pastor addressed us and appreciated all the workers for their dedication and love toward the work of God, we played games, and a few questions were asked about each department and what they would need to improve their duties in the coming year.

Every departmental leader answered the question and also presented gifts to the pastor as a token of appreciation for loving all the members of the church.

After which we moved to item seven item-7 in Nigeria it is called time to eat, this was done accordingly, from your seat to where the food is, get your food, and go back to your table, it was so fun because we had some brothers who are cracking us up on the queue

We have different types of meals, we have fried rice, jollof rice, swallow, and salad with different types of meats. It was my turn when the salad finished and I had craving salad yesterday which I told my friend that I did not have salad cream at home, when I saw that salad was part of the menu I was so excited at least I would subside my craving for it but it's so sad that it finished before I got there.

I had to eat my food without salad though the food was so delicious and after the food, the pastor gave every one of us a gift which I desired so much
