Today I remembered that my friend's birthday is coming up in the next two days, I was thinking of what to buy for her as her birthday gift, I thought of it and no idea was coming, my friend is someone who is very supportive and also fun to be with, she is someone who always appreciates little things not to talk of something huge.

Due to the economy in my country, I can not afford a huge gift to celebrate her birthday, I know my friend is a lover of jewelry like hand chains, hand beads, waist beads, and so on, so I decided to make this hand bracelet for her to celebrate her birthday with other goodies which I will be posting on her birthday.

My friend's best color is blue, she loves anything blue and I bought these blue beads to make her day a memorable one

These types of beads are called gemstone beads but this is a bit tiny and I know it will be perfect for the shape I want it to form, I want a polygon shape that is I want four four-sided solid shapes

MATERIAL USED
Gemstone beads
Scissors
Hooks
Fishing line
Needle
Stopper

What is the usefulness of these tools

Gemstone beads:- This is used to form my jewelry, it came in pieces then I used it to form any shape I wanted.

Scissors:- we all know the usefulness of scissors, it is used in cutting material, so I used my Scissors to cut the fishing line.

Stopper:- The stopper is used at the end of your jewelry, it is clipped to the fishing line in other to protect the beads from removal.

Fishing Line:- when it comes to jewelry the most important material is the fishing line, this is the line used in bringing our beads together.

Hook:- This is placed at the beginning and also the end of our bead, it is used to attach the two edges together

IMG_20240229_120106_885.jpg

Needle:- This needle is made for beads, it is not as strong as our normal needle, but it is so soft that it can penetrate the holes in the bead.

The steps I used

The first step is to know the measurements of the person's wrist, I know my friend loves all her hand jewelry to be firm, and not too loose on her hand, so I used my wrist measurement for her.

I attached my fishing line to my needle through the tiny hole at the base of the needle then used the needle to count eight of my beads then attached it to the fishing line, then tied it to form a circle before adding to the edges.

After forming a circle then I started adding one bead to the edges which makes it four since I am working with a polygon shape, I used the needle to attach one bead to the other at each edge.

I repeat these steps to all because I am making them one after the other before attaching them together before joining my hook with it.

After all these processes I started by joining them together and I started with my hook, I attached my hook to the fishing line then added a stopper to it then pressed it with my plier, then added a bead to it before joining the shaped ones

This is the finishing look

I hope she will love it because it takes me time to finish this jewelry, it is not something I can rush and finish in an hour because this is my first attempt at trying this shape.
