Throwback of a surprise birthday organized by me for my boss

Sharing positive memories like this can be really uplifting. The little things we do to brighten someone's day are often more impactful than we realize.

I was checking my PC when I saw this video, this video was recorded three years back when I was learning a skill, it was a fun day because we all planned a surprise birthday for our boss that year.

My boss is someone who doesn't mix her personal life with her work, I haven't seen her celebrate birthdays, she never talks about birthdays but I was fortunate to know, I got to know her birthday through one of our conversations, we were talking that day when she mistakenly mentioned it, she is someone who doesn't like to celebrate birthdays for the best reason known to her, she never mentioned her birthday to anyone but I found myself lucky to know her birthday month and day, I pretended as if I don't hear where when she mentioned it.

The day was approaching and I called other apprentice so that we could organize a memorable birthday for her, they all accepted because she is not just a boss but also a friend, she is so calm and down to earth, and she never behaves like a boss because of her friendly nature, we planned to contribute some token and do it in a small way that we can all enjoy. The Day came and I did a little decor by using happy birthday balloons to decorate the studio and get things done with other people.

The look on her face said it all, when she came and saw how colorful the studio was, we really got her because she wasn't expecting it, she was so excited and her joy was immeasurable, she prayed with all her heart and we all merry.

I learned a lot from her lifestyle, she is so simple and very humble, I learned how to relate with my apprentice from her and this lifestyle has been helpful, you do not need to wear a stern face before people can respect you, she is some I respect so much because of her simple lifestyle and the way she treats people around her.
