WHO TRULY DESERVE THIS?

In the current situation of my country, no one deserves to be the face of our currency, all of the politicians are deceivers, liars, and are not trustworthy.

Politics is now one man's game in Nigeria, only a person decides the fate of the country and anything he says is the exert thing that will happen, we do not have our voice and this is killing us more in Nigeria.

How can a person decide who will be the next president without considering the votes of the citizens, how can a person be the god-father of 20 states out of 36, how can a person be the one to dictate the next governor of each state?

Can we really trust them with our currency, it is not that we have a say over it though but how are we sure that the person I wish to be the face of the currency is not as corrupt as them?

Can we trust our religious ruler? No, pastors and Muslims have now into politics, pastors are now seeing fake visions for the politicians in other to see what they will eat from them, and Muslims are now sitting 24 hours to pray for the politicians when they know they are the problem we are having in the country.

Politicians now pay tithes and offerings to our churches and the religious rulers do nothing about it instead they are the ones campaigning for us to continue the struggle again.

Can we really trust anyone?
Well, I prefer we choose from our past heroes, the ones who fought with their lives to save our generation, the likes of Obafemi Awolowo, Nnamdi Azikiwe, etc In my opinion we can continue the face that is on the currency rather than changing it because who do we trust, they are not a good role model to this generation, our system has failed us in this country.

Should we talk about Mary Slessor who stopped the killing of twins, do we have such a person again, are they significant in our society, can we be bold and come out to fight for our country, all our leaders are now fighting for their pocket neglecting the interest of the citizens.

I do not have anyone in my opinion other than people whose faces are on the currency, we can never be too sure of our leaders, no one is trustworthy, accommodating, or has the interest of the citizens at heart, all they do is to share cups of rice before the election and we suffer for it when they are in position.

I know I have been talking about politicians now let's see from another angle, can we really trust anyone to be the face of our currency, do u have anyone who deserves this?
The system in our country corrupts innocent people, I remember when Adams Oshiomole was the chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) from 1999 to 2007, he fought for the workers and carried out his duties diligently, people voted for him when he was campaigning to be the governor of Edo State, they all thought he will be as brave and compassionate as he was when he was the president of NLC but he became the governor of the state and turned himself to another thing.

I do not have anyone to be the face of the currency, let the people who were there should continue to be there till we get people who truly deserve to be the face of our currency.
