🙏Thank you for the useful tip🙏. I deleted the tag. I am still a newbie in the community and keep learning the do's and don'ts.
Here in Greece, I think, is mostly about money. People don't have money either to maintain a house or tear it down and build a new one in the same property.
Also, we had a lot of persons that left the country as immigrants -due to the financial crisis- these last fifteen years. These people have made a life abroad and don't really care about the old, family house in homeland. And so, they let it become ruins.

Removing the tag was a smart move.
As for houses, they tend to be a family's largest investment. So, maintaining a house should have positive rewards. Unfortunately, I realize that there are many reasons to let property go to pot.
