A Fulfilled and Hectic Weekend

It's been a long time I have stressed myself to the extent I did this weekend although it was fun but it was very stressful.

My weekend was stressful but also fun because I got the opportunity to of visiting another Local Government outside mine and was able to meet new friends.

So, this weekend was for burial and I had to go with the family to help prepare for the burial a day before the burial event.

We got there on a Friday and throughout the day and the day we had to cook, fry, and also fetch water since they do not have a borehole in their house. The place we finally saw where to fetch water was a long distance but it did not matter because we went in groups to get water.

Not only was I stressed out but I got beaten by some insects that I never knew would bite me and everyone was sorry for the state of my body. Although it was nothing serious but the marks were enough to remind me of that place.

We cooked and did the necessary things that would be needed for the occasion and finally, the burial started. Although we finalized the whole event very late but it was a success.

After the whole celebration, we had to still go and fetch water to wash all the utensils used for cooking for the event. We finished everything and prepared to leave, along the line, the rain started falling and I had to head home under the rain.

The next day was Sunday and I was able to carry myself to church, after church I had an event I had planned to attend and wouldn't want to miss for anything.

Got dressed even though I had a had time choosing a simple and suitable dress for the evening concert but I successfully chose a simple native with the help of my friend.

Headed down to the venue although behind time but we were able to meet up with the important part and we not only danced but worshipped out our heart to our creator.

I got back home, feeling so exhausted but happy and fulfilled that my weekend helped me meet new people and worship God amid other Christians who knew how to worship.
