Gratitude ~ Thankful Tuesday

It is the first day of a new month and the last month in the year 2021 and I am indeed grateful for so many things but today, I will be sharing with us the things I am grateful for.

The beginning of the year was quite rough for me, making me wonder what this year has in store for me, making me feel it was going to be another year again without achieving anything but shockingly it is close to the end of the year and going through my To-do list, I realized I had accomplished even more than I had written and expected from this year in spite the rough days and months and the challenges up and down.

First and foremost, I am grateful for my family members. It has not been easy these past years but the Lord has preserved us and provided for us even more than what we had expected.

Despite our unfaithfulness, despite our differences, I am grateful that God has been our shield and buckle and grateful for the family he gave to me.

Having these two as my siblings have taught me a lot in life and I will forever be grateful that I have them as my brothers.

I am grateful for my friends and loved

The best thing that can ever happen to anyone is having friends who are always there to encourage you and have got your back when you are about to fall. I am grateful and will always remain grateful to God for my friends. Although we've had our differences but they never stop to give their shoulders for me to lean on when I am down.

I would not be lying if I say these ladies and gentlemen are part of my success story this year. Either by their words of encouragement or by always being by my side when I need them. They never knew the seeds they instilled into me whenever we had a conversation but their every little help moulded me into a better version of myself and I owe them that.

I am grateful for the skills acquired

At the beginning of this new year, I had planned to acquire skills for myself but at a point in time, I lost hope because there was no money to pay for the acquisition of the skills.

Early last month, I got the opportunity to learn my dream skill without paying and can decide to make an income or do it for my friends and family.

I am grateful for everything and everyone God has deemed me worthy to encounter and have and I am using this medium to thank Him for this year 2021 and the year 2022 we all are going to enter. Irrespective of the Pandemic, He was there for us.
