Preparing Sausage Roll For Delivery
There is nothing as exciting as learning new things and most especially things you are sure of not only making for yourself but making to gain profit, that is for commercial use.
So today, I will be taking us down my kitchen lane and teaching us how I made my sausage roll. Although it was stressful since it is my first time trying it without the supervision of my tutor but I am excited I was able to make it and I am hoping that one day, I will start up a confectionery and pastry shop of my own with my brand name on it even though I know it will need a lot of money but I hope that happens one day.
Recipes
- 750g of flour
- 300g of butter
- 1 cup of water
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 or two packs of hot dog
Process in making the Fillings
- Get your hot dog, put it in water to cool off if iced
- Mash or grind your hot dog
- Add your spices to give it a good taste
- Add your pepper
- Add a little extra flour and mix
Forming the sausage roll dough
- Sift your 750g of flour into a bowl
- Add your 300 g of margarine, mix with your hands until it mixes well
- Add your 1 cup of water slowly, a pinch of salt, and 1 tablespoon of baking powder

- Get your rolling pin and roll your dough into a square shape size
- Use your knife to cut the dough until you are such that both four sides are equal or straight
- Add your sausage fillings along the edge of your rectangle-shaped dough

- Apply your already whisked egg at the end to seal your dough
- Cut into smaller sizes
- Egg wash your dough using your whisked egg and a brush at the top of the dough.
- Take into your oven for baking.
When it was well baked, I removed it, allow it to cool down.
Then I got a box, put my serviette into the box and placed my sausage roll into the box carefully and covered back. Called the delivery man to come and get the box and deliver it to the owner.
Then I sausage roll was ready to be delivered to my amiable customer.
