Greetings #jewelry community, wishing you a happy and blessed weekend to this wonderful community of creative crafters. Today I am happy to share with you my new creative project. I tell you that this weaving which I show you this time is thanks to a friend who showed it to me and I really liked it. From the first day I saw it I was fascinated to do it. It is a very simple fabric to make but the result leaves us with an immense emotion, as a colloquial proverb says the heart wants to come out of our mouths.

As a teacher I always try to learn and innovate because I think that knowledge is a living organism that must be renewed every day. Therefore, I thank God for having met this community which has allowed me to refresh this art that for a long time I had left aside but today I do it and the most important thing has been very useful in the classroom to teach in a fun way.

This jewelry is very attractive and I loved this new fabric. It is very simple to make and with materials that we regularly have at home.

El día de hoy me siento feliz de compartir con ustedes mi nuevo proyecto creativo. Les cuento que este tejido el cual les muestro en esta ocasión es gracias a una amiga que me lo enseñó y me gustó mucho. Desde el primer día que lo vi quedé fascinada por hacerlo. Es un tejido muy sencillo de hacer pero el resultado nos deja con una emoción inmensa, como dice un proverbio coloquial el corazón se nos quiere salir por la boca.
Como maestra siempre trato de aprender e innovar ya que pienso que el conocimiento es un organismo vivo que debe ser renovado cada día. Por eso , doy gracias a Dios por haber conocido esta comunidad el cual me ha permitido refrescar este arte que por mucho tiempo lo había dejado de lado pero que hoy lo hago y lo más importante me ha sido de gran utilidad en el aula de clase para enseñar de manera divertida.

Esta joya es muy atractiva y me encantó este nuevo tejido. Es muy sencilla de hacer y con materiales que regularmente tenemos en casa.

Que Dios les bendiga y espero les guste mi creación.

MATERIALS

Los materiales que utilizaremos para realizar esta hermosa pulsera con tejido de serpiente son los siguientes:
Hilo piel de serpiente
Tijera
Yesquero
Cinta métrica

PREPARATION
To start this delicate bracelet we will cut 40cm of snake thread that we will use as a base to make the weaving.

Para comenzar esta delicada pulsera vamos a cortar 40cm de hilo de serpiente que usaremos como base para realizar el tejido

I then cut two strands of 150cm thread that I will use to weave this delicate bracelet.

Luego corté dos hebra de hilo de 150cm que usaré para realizar el tejido de ésta delicada pulsera

I then took the base yarns and measured 7cm from the top down. Then I taped the adhesive tape to the board and from there we started the weaving.

Luego tomé los hilos base y medí 7cm desde la parte superior hacia abajo. Seguidamente pegué cinta adhesiva a la tabla y a partir de esa distancia(7cm) empezamos el tejido

Next I took a 150cm strand of yarn and passed it under the base yarns and took both ends and tied a knot to make it the same size. Then I took the other 150cm strand of yarn and passed it through the inside of the knot and then pressed it so that we had three strands of yarn (as shown in the picture in step three) that we will use to weave the fabric.

Seguidamente tomé una hebra de hilo de 150cm lo pasé por debajo de los hilos base y tomé ambas puntas e hice un nudo para que quede del mismo tamaño. Luego tomé la otra hebra de hilo de 150cm y lo pase por el interior del nudo y después presioné para que nos quedé tres hebras de hilos (como se nos muestra en la imagen en el paso tres) que usaremos para realizar el tejido

We begin our weaving as follows: First we pass the yellow yarn over the pink yarn on the right and over the base yarns and pull it out over the pink yarn on the left.

Comenzamos nuestro tejido de la siguiente forma: Primero pasamos el hilo amarillo por encima del hilo rosa de la derecha y sobre los hilos base y lo sacamos por encima del hilo rosa de la izquierda.

Then we tie a flat knot starting from the left side. We start weaving as follows: First we pass the left thread over the base yarns and form a kind of a four, then the thread that is on the right side we pass it under the base yarns and take it out through the ring of the left side thread. Then we pass the thread on the right side over the base yarns and pull it through the inside of the base yarn. Then we pass the left side thread under the base yarns and pull it through the inside of the base yarn. Then we tie a flat knot on the left side.

Luego hacemos un nudo plano comenzando del lado izquierdo. Iniciamos realizando el tejido de la siguiente forma: Primero pasamos el hilo izquierdo por encima de los hilos base y formamos especie de un cuatro, luego el hilo que está en el lado derecho lo pasamos por debajo de los hilos base y lo sacamos por la argolla del hilo del lado izquierdo. Luego pasamos el hilo del lado derecho por encima de los hilos base y lo sacamos por el interior del mismo. Seguidamente pasamos el hilo del lado izquierdo y lo pasamos por debajo de los hilos base y lo sacamos por el interior del mismo. Después realizamos un nudo plano del lado izquierdo.

We continue with the same procedure but now on the left side until we reach the desired measurement as shown in the images.

Seguimos realizando el mismo procedimiento pero ahora del lado izquierdo hasta llegar a la medida deseada co o se nis muestra en las imágenes

After finishing our fabric, we cut off the excess and seal it with a tinder. Then we make a knot that will serve as the bracelet's locking device.

Después de tejer hasta la medida deseada corté los hilos sobrantes y con un yesquero sellé. Seguidamente realizamos un nudo que nos servirá de trancadero de la pulsera.
