El primer raspón de Olivia [ESP/ENG]

Hola a todos! Sí, cuando estábamos en Colombia, Olivia se hizo su primer raspón en una de sus rodillas mientras Pawel y yo estábamos caminando con ella por los alrededores del conjunto donde vive mi hermana, todo paso muy rápido, y es que Olivia quería ir caminando sin tomarnos de la mano y como era un espacio seguro mi esposo y yo la dejamos explorar, y si, en un momento ella se emocionó y corrió y se cayó.

Seguro que a Olivia le dolía un poco pero al menos ella no lloró mucho, y en seguida fuimos a casa a lavar y desinfectar la herida, por cierto eso me recordó que cuando yo estaba pequeña pero un poco más grande que Olivia también me caí y me hice muchos raspones en las rodillas pero en esos tiempos se usaba el betadine o este líquido anaranjado jajaja, pero lo que les quería contar y que aprendí de todo esto es que aunque ese raspón nos hizo sentir un poco tristes a mi esposo y a mí (hasta un poco culpables) porque como padres queremos proteger siempre a nuestros hijos (incluso de algo pequeño como un raspón en su rodilla), debemos entender también que a veces la vida tiene caídas que ellos deben aprender a enfrentar, pero lo más importante es que sepan que mamá y papá estarán ahí para darles amor, un abrazo o para acompañarlos.

Y si, Olivia fue una niña muy fuerte y aunque estuvo viendo su raspón una semana completa (quizá le daba curiosidad) jaja, eso no fue razón para que ella tuviera miedo a seguir caminando por los alrededores del conjunto.

Hello everyone! Yes, when we were in Colombia, Olivia got her first scrape on one of her knees while Pawel and I were walking with her around the complex where my sister lives, everything happened very fast, and Olivia wanted to walk without holding our hands and as it was a safe space my husband and I let her explore, and yes, at one point she got excited and ran and fell.

Sure it hurt Olivia a little but at least she didn't cry too much, and then we went home to wash and disinfect the wound, by the way that reminded me that when I was little but a little older than Olivia I also fell and got a lot of scrapes on my knees but in those days they used betadine or this orange liquid hahaha, but what I wanted to tell you and what I learned from all this is that although that scrape made my husband and I feel a little sad (even a little guilty) because as parents we always want to protect our children (even from something small like a scrape on their knee), we must also understand that sometimes life has falls that they must learn to face, but the most important thing is that they know that mom and dad will be there to give them love, a hug or to accompany them.

And yes, Olivia was a very strong girl and even though she was looking at her scrape for a whole week (maybe she was curious) haha, that was no reason for her to be afraid to keep walking around the set.
