Hola a todos! como les contaba, ayer celebramos el cumpleaños de nuestra hija Olivia, y aunque no hubo una gran celebración, la verdad es que la pasamos muy bien juntos y en familia, y les cuento que la torta estaba deliciosa al igual que la del año pasado y es que la mandamos a hacer en la misma pastelería solo que al parecer este año aumentó de precio pues aunque esta torta era más grande, nos pareció algo cara pero al menos estaba buena y lo mejor es que esta vez Olivia si pudo disfrutarla.

Al momento de cantar cumpleaños le pusimos un gorrito a Olivia para las fotos y ella sonreía mientras mi esposo y yo le cantabamos el cumpleaños (la versión corta), hacíamos fotos y aplaudiamos, la verdad es que fue un momento divertido aunque a Olivia le costó un poco soplar la vela, así que su papá la ayudó.

Con respecto al nombre que aparece en la torta, es decir, Olivii en vez de Olivia, quiero contarles que se debe a las declinaciones en polaco, o sea se modifica la terminación del nombre según la oración, aunque si hubo una pequeña confusión con el nombre y es que como en polaco no existe la V, en la pastelería escribieron Oliwii y le dijimos que en realidad su nombre era con V, pero no fue un problema para ellos y cuando fuimos a recoger la torta lo arreglaron sin problema.

Y como les dije antes, la torta estaba muy rica y tenía una decoración muy linda, además estaba rellena de frambuesas que a Olivia le encantan, ella estaba tan sorprendida con la torta que casi le ponía la mano, por suerte me dí cuenta a tiempo y logré salvarla jajaja, la torta la compartimos con mi suegro y mi cuñado, y todavía nos queda para mañana, así que pasen a recoger su trozo pronto o se quedarán sin torta jajaja. Hello, everyone! As I was telling you, yesterday we celebrated our daughter Olivia's birthday. and although it wasn't a big celebration, we had a really nice time together as a family. I have to say that the cake was delicious, just like last year's. We ordered it from the same bakery, but it seems that the price went up this year because, even though the cake was bigger, we thought it was a bit expensive. But at least it was good, and the best thing is that this time Olivia was able to enjoy it.

When it was time to sing “Happy Birthday,” we put a little hat on Olivia for the photos, and she smiled while my husband and I sang the birthday song (the short version), took pictures, and applauded. It was a fun moment, although Olivia had a little trouble blowing out the candle, so her dad helped her.

Regarding the name on the cake, which was Olivii instead of Olivia, I want to tell you that this is due to declensions in Polish, meaning that the ending of the name changes depending on the sentence. However, there was a little confusion with the name because Polish doesn't have the letter V, so the bakery wrote Oliwii, and we told them that her name actually had a V. but it wasn't a problem for them and when we went to pick up the cake, they fixed it without any trouble.

And as I said before, the cake was very tasty and had a very pretty decoration. It was also filled with raspberries, which Olivia loves. She was so surprised by the cake that she almost put her hand on it, but luckily I noticed in time and managed to save it, ha ha ha. We shared the cake with my father-in-law and brother-in-law, and we still have some left for tomorrow, so come pick up your piece soon or you'll be left without cake, ha ha ha. Cheers!
