Party Time Excellent

Party for a one-year-old, I’m still dressing up. Casually though so I can sit on the floor and play.

We Finns are mostly super casual and to be frank, don’t know or care to dress well even when the occasion calls for it. I think it’s both a damn shame and quite rude to not put in any effort if you are invited to a party.

I on the other hand love any and all excuse to dress up a bit. Though obviously if I feel like it, I’ll wear a pair of heels and a dress for grocery shopping, but it doesn’t really feel the same.

Someone once said to me while we were clothes shopping that I seem to not want to stand out because I wear mainly neutral colours. Excuse me miss but you just don’t understand style and quality. There are people who put on a garish print dress and call it a day, and then there are people who take care to choose classic cuts and good materials. Obviously the two don’t have to be mutually exclusive, some people are great at pulling off a loud look and make sure it’s quality.

It’s not quite a hot summer yet and I knew the other people at the party would be wearing pretty much jeans and a t-shirt, and I’d be playing with a toddler so have to dress wisely. I chose long wide leg linen pants that are super comfortable and a very flattering shape, paired with a silk top which is always a good idea and elevates the look, the contrasting textures is nice too. Since it was pretty chilly in the morning, I put on my most worn cashmere sweater that I wore mainly outside. If it was a fancier party, I would have worn strappy heels but alas it was not and I knew we’d be inside and not wearing shoes so I just chose a sparking white pair of sneakers.

I can't be bothered with touch-ups either ;) but it's good, shows you've enjoyed yourself. I love that outfit, very classy, Eve. hope you had fun!

Yes that is a good indicator that you are too busy living to care :) thanks!

5 years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://peakd.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem

Neutrals are extremely elegant in my opinion. It’s the wearer not the ensamble that makes a statement and you do it gracefully!💎

this made me smile!! well I am glad I am not the only one that just runs around in silk and cashmere on any random day:) and could I think of any better combination than silk, linen and cashmere?? probably not hahah well it might sound like posh taste but how those fabrics feel when you wear them is just great, I also do not understand why you would want to wear anything else when those materials are out there:)

Using quality fabrics is just smarter in every possible way; the look, feel, lasting power etc. If that’s posh then so be it!

Looking at the material tag is one of the most important part in shopping clothes for me. I hate it when some shops online almost hide that info, I’m not gonna buy anything if I don’t know the exact percentages pf the material used!

Maybe it is posh maybe not, well in the end, that doesent really matter what it is.. And yes I do feel alot of people might not care what clothes are made of, well that is their choice, but yes I am the same:)
I mostly look at the fabric tag first before I consider what the clothing actually looks like:)
