At the Sea Shore
Last night was surprisingly still here in Hanko, considering that it's situated on a peninsula at the sea shore. My expectation was that it would be really windy in here pretty much at all times, so I was pleasantly surprised. I do hope though that we get more wind during tonight or tomorrow evening, because it would be nice to see the sea raging.
After our dinner last night I was already planning on going back to the apartment but mom insisted that we'd go see the sunset at some docs and a little beach. I was tired but I'm glad we went, it was really nice out there and didn't see a soul, perfect.
It was also really quiet, and you could hear little blob blob blob sounds as the fish were feeding. I couldn't get a picture of it but there were little fishies constantly coming up to the surface all over the harbour.
Shot with Nikon D750 and Sigma 85mm f/1.4.
Fuck it!
Sorry, just a little two-worded rant.
I'm supposed to be in Finland right now you know...Seeing scenery like this. Bloody covid-19!
The first image and the last image are my favourites...But I'm still having issues because of the fact I'm not there. Lol.
This must be like salt to the wounds. But maybe you can earmark places for when you can make it here :)
Yeah, your place for coffee and some killer home made Finnish food! Lol.
It's really frustrating you know...Not going this year means we will miss out on another stage of @smallsteps growing up. Makes me sad. Still, like we said before...If I was there when my dad passed away...Wouldn't have been good either. Maybe things happen in the right way huh?
Damn fate and its fickle ways!
Looks like you've hit the jackpot there though...Great photos...But I'd hardly expect anything less.

Home made Finnish food, cabbage soup it is 😂
I’m sure you are really bummed about it, but I hope you guys are on Facetime often enough to catch up on each others lives. You’ll have to come for the whole summer next year because you missed this year.
