All the yellow in the world

Exaggeration?
Yep :)

Its just some yellow I found in one lawn. I am still sure I have missed some flowers, but those were the ones that just screamed to be photographed. Fields of blooms... You just stand in the middle of a field covered of flowers, grasses, bugs and you don't know what to shoot first.

  • Buttercup
Adorable little flower with extremely gloddy petals. I used to pick those around the lawns to bring home. They are not big, the vivid colour and shine makes them pop.
Buttercups and daises often grow together. Both are quite common weeds.

  • Lupine
It is grown there mainly for the piggies. They walk around and will eat what they want. Fields of the yellow lupine bloom in the countryside in spring. Among them some blue ones pop, but the yellow is the dominant one. Absolutely amazing view hen you drive and see the hills covered in yellow.

  • Linaria viscosa
Few types of Linaria can be found around. Some I even saw growing on sandy dunes. This one was popping in between the lupines. They are much bigger, yes she still managed to find some gaps to grow and bloom. Skinny, long stems with multiple, small flowers. Pretty things :)

Now that I look at them, they do remind me of Snapdragons. I wonder if they would also open their little mouth after I press the sides. Must try that next time :)

As a bonus a yellow song for today (no, not Coldplay :p)
