Eurasian collared dove

A while ago I saw this cute couple sitting on the branch just above the the spot where we normally park the car.
What to do... what to do..
Shoot them! :)

It was one of those days that I did have my camera with me and even though I wish I had my zoom lens, the macro one worked out ok too. They lovebirds weren't far from me and still allowed to be get a bot closer.

But with every step they were getting more cautions and...

Hey, what is that hooman doing?
I don't think I like that... Let's move somewhere else Betty

Relax Dave! It is just photos.
Hey, where are you going?

Oh look, I will turn - it is my better profile.

Suits yourself. If something bad happens it will be your fault..

What's new Davey... whats new..

Those are such common birds, but I always enjoy seeing them. And even more hearing them. They were always around when I was growing up nesting on the trees in out garden or neighbors garden. Always singing with their characteristic tunes.

Pests? Maybe...
But just as any bird pest and weed flower - I like them all and there is room out there for everyone.

Have a great weekend y'all!
