FungiFriday - practicing the low angle
To me this is the best wat to shoot the larger mushrooms. It is not much about showing all the details, but the shape and how they stand tall among the grasses. Like a mushroom skyline.
I have to do that more often, though sometimes there is just not enough spade. The distance is needed. And if the little fells decide to grow between bushes - not gonna happen.
Here I got some that showed up among grasses in a bit more open space.
With the morning mist on the grass I also got some nice bokeh bubbles.
It's the same two, but from different side. The angle of the light changed and the colours too.
Here is a dried up bonus shot :)
This is the first Friday with the challenge in the new, dedicated space and with updated rules. Check the announcement post in case you have missed it.
Here is how it goes:
- when Friday comes post your own, original photo/drawing/art/food/anything-at-all of any type of fungi (yes, I will check and report stolen images or text!)
- add #FungiFriday tag (it doesn't have to be your first tag)
- Include
My contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw
anywhere in your post.
Among all the correct entries I will pick the best, most interesting, most creative posts. Those will be included in the challenge Summary Post published during the weekend.
100% of the Summary Post payout will be split between the featured users.
To participate in this part, the post has to be published from the FungiFriday Community.
Please make sure you publish your post on Friday UTC time, to keep things fair for everyone.
