Just around the corner

Back to the usual spot almost around the corner from my family home.
Almost.
I still have to walk a little bit and leave behind the buildings, gardens and streets until I reach the fields.

This was shot in September. The fall skies are jut so full of drama. It generally rain quite a bit already and when it clears up a bit, all the clouds leftovers, mists from evaporating rain create quite a spectacular show.

It as nice to catch the sun in the gap between the dark big cloud and the forest on the horizon.

And then I decided to switch the lens to the zoom one and get really close to the skies. Red, red and more red. All the gaps and clouds are filled with floating lava.
It does give quite a different feel, than the distance shots, right?

And then it turned out that there is another long and thick cloud right above the forest line, which only means the sun will hide sooner than I expected. A bit of a shame, but it was still quite an awesome few minutes and worth the walk.

It can't be worse than the recent ones, right? I bet we all though that a year ago.. and two years ago... and three :p
And we all got tricked pretty well.
What are we missing then. Aliens? Asteroid? Sun cooking us all?

There is a cool program on Odisseia channel called "Fim do mundo" (End of the world) that shows all kinds of catastrophic scenarios of how to destroy the whole human population an the Earth too. There is so many of them!
And nobody survives...
