Last days.
The setting sun and the last blooming anemones dragged me out of the house. I was comfy with a cup of fresh coffee... but opportunity like this doesn't happen too often.
I grabbed my camera, attached my brothers lens to it (permission granted) and I walked out.
Was it worth it or was it worth it? :D
I didnt manage to catch the most amazing bokeh effect, but the little white petals looked so nice against the contrasting dark (green to be precise) background.
These anemones are not tall and one large bush is growing in the middle of bed with taller plants around. The large poppied and some sunflowers were slowly taking over.
Few days later almost all the petals were already gone. The leaves will die too by the summer and they will go dormant until next spring.
It would be best to shoot them few weeks earlier in their full glory and with some little buds waiting to open.

I don't normally shoot with Sony and was a bit out of my comfort zone. It would be much faster with my trusty Nikon, but I cant attach Helios to Nikon and I really do like how soft the images are. It is still a very sharp lens, but the images turn out somehow dreamy and it's not just because of the bokeh. Its the overall feel... or is it just me.

The display of flower plants is quite interesting. And provide pictures that are best friends even pretty good.
I love this type of composition with white flowers contrasting with a background in the background out of focus and a darker tone. Nice photos !
Your photos are stunning. Opportunities should be seized. However, these photos are amazing in their own way.
Helios is doing amazing job, do you have adapter by any chance, so it can fit to your fav Nikon?

Taking black and white photos is actually very difficult. But you are very talented. You even took a magnificent photo of a flower that is out of season.
