Lost in a pink mess
I was picking some Hydrangea today to take home and put in a vase. Beautiful, bug clusters of pink flowers!
And then I noticed this huge, black ant like guardian of the pink petals (I heard that those are actually leaves, the flowers are the tiny centers).
It wasn't hard to spot her even though she was the only one there.
Yea.. stretch that leg, little one :)
I shot her for a little bit. She was a fast one and seemed like she was a bit lost looking for a way out.
Few more shots and then she changed the direction, stuck her booty at me and disappeared.
Oh well.
I got my bouquet and left too.

Such a nice contrast! A tiny creature swimming in pink sea! Hope the little one finds her home.
I am sure she did! They are smart little creatures.
Wowww... a shot that is great in capturing images macrophotography of a black ant @ewkaw
Thank you :)
Your Welcome my friends😊
Hello dear Ewkaw,
i love these ants. Taking photos is always charismatic. and you have to be careful. bites can really hurt. congratulations on your successful macro shots.
Thank you! I wouldn't never dear to touch one. And this one was big and scary!
Wonderful background and the first photograph looks like a bridge between the pinks 😊
Beautifully captured 👌
Thank you very much :)
That is an amazing shot, the first one especially. Really cool catch.
Thanks a lot :)
Woaaa.. that's great. See how beautiful the black ant looks on the pink background. He does not. I loved. very successful.
He was really standing out!
Thank you for stopping by :)
The first shot is so awesome! It gives him a personality almost! Ants are not the easiest to photography, usually not very cooperative. I like the parting shot, butt in the air as he moves out of range!
I do love the hydrangea and have some sitting right next to me, from a tri-colored bush, Red, white and blue. Such a delightful bush.

They are just so fast! At least this one was quite big. The tiny ones are impossible :)
I love them too! Brought some home and now they sit in the center of a kitchen table. So pretty.
I'll bet you didn't let the ant stay for dinner!?
Oh no.. I left them where they belong :)
