Watching Jumping Spiders hunt is as enjoyable as watching a kitten play. They are also equally cute creatures :)

Big, dark blue eyes, fancy lashes, little golden mustache and crazy hair.

I have no idea what kind if it. It was bigger than most jumping spiders I saw and despite it was getting dark and he was walking on a dark wood, it was quite easy to spot.
Obviously he was looking for some small insect to hunt. They do not need web to catch a fly. They will approach it slowly and then jump in a fraction of a second to catch it.
They have 3 sets of eyes: 4 eyes in the front and another two on the sides. You can see the smaller side ones on the photo below.
They see EVERYTHING!
And then he jumped to the side of the door. They can b really fast when they want to. Not that he found any food there, but gotta try right?

Me too! I used to have one or two among my plants, but thy just come and go. Some smaller show up and then gone too. Wish they moved in permanently.
