One beauty, two beasts

Water Dropwort flower bw 2.jpg

A quick memory of a summer that I am not fan of. The weather that is now suits me better. But one thing that I do like about summer (besides fruits) are the buggers I can shoot. And just shoot. Even if they are on the way and get into the photograph uninvited.

This delicate white flower is one of the Water dropwort plants. There is few of them that differ from each other with some details. I cannot tell which one is it. It belongs to the same family as the Daucus carota aka Queen Anne's lace. They all have this very delicate, white flowers that grow in small clusters. Absolutely adorable! But the plant itself can be irritating so be careful what walk into :p

I think the one below that is pointing fingers could be Queen Anne's lace.

And here is the little beast:

Looks like some type of shield bug (Stink bug). There are plenty of them around during the summer as they feed on the flowers.
I used to see green ones around grain fields too.
All equally nasty, though look pretty good on photos.

Scary or not, it had its five minutes, until the real beasty showed up and ruined everything :p

Now for a little bonus.
Yesterday the power on my account showed this 😅:

For non photographer those bug's really irritates them in summer haha.

Well, That Flower is Awesome more like a Royal Flower.

Haven't thought flower can be still this beautiful without their colours. Brilliant peace of work with Clicks.

They annoy me too.
Black and white is cool to show contrasts and textures. Also on flowers :)

that is indeed a wild carrot / Queen Anne's lace.

That one probably is. The main I am not so sure. It didn't have that specific dark middle the wild carrot has.

the main is something different those flower heads are to far appart to be a wild carrot :)

Great captures of the flowers and the beasts… the insect is interesting… the pig… scary when they interrupt the shooting hehehe 🤭
Great number 😎🥳

The pigs were like doggies.. following me everywhere, but keeping like 2m distance. Funny companions.

I always run from these numbers. Most often I see them on the dashboard of my car.

Well, this beauty is not only dangerous but also medicinal. This is a wild carrot and when it is young roots can be used as medicine. It can be used for urinary tract problems, kidney stones, bladder problems, water retention, and excess uric acid in urine. Seeds are also used as relief from severe diarrhea (dysentery), indigestion, and intestinal gas problems. Lovely shots tho

I wouldn't dare to pick something I hardly know anyway. Most of the wild plants have some properties... People just learn to forget how to recognize and use them.
Thanks :)
