It is a deep hidden hate for the innocent weed. Nobody knows when and why it started anymore, but dandelions must go (for a penny:p).

If I ever win the lottery and decide to own a home with a yard, I will take great pride in allowing dandelions to grow everywhere with reckless abandon. My neighbors will probably hate me.
You can also accidentally make sure some of the seeds end up on their side :p
Just 'cause...
I will wait till the wind is blowing their way, and then wish for their yards to be filled with dandelions :D
