So much yellow everywere!

Lithodora prostrata blue wildflower ulex.jpg

It is hard to avoid it. It is everywhere I looked!
The always present yellow background - Ulex

In early spring as soon as the days get longer and warmer the bushes will bloom and the are will turn to a yellow sea. I like them, even though they are very invasive and have very sharp thorns. I like that bright yellow colour and funny looking flowers.

Above the little blue flower is called Lithodora prostrata
Below one of the large types of Onionweed was growing their 1,5 m tall flower spikes. This is another invasive weed that I like. Even more than Ulex.

Some grasses dancing on the wind...

... and spring blooming Erica with million of tiny purple flowers.
Both of those bushes are usually surrounded by bees, bumblebees and other small flying nectar eaters.

And here is the guilty one.
Ulex or Gorse bush. One of my friends makes ice creams from the flowers (yes, they are edible). I have never tried it, but it must be nice and fragrant.
Every weed has a purpose :)

Woww!! <3
The flower reminds be a bit of Setiechinopsis mirabilis, but it has even more pointy petals.
Did you sniff it?

Oh this looks close and has little softer petals than the Setiechinopsis mirabilis. And the flower has an refreshing scent around it, if you walk closer to it and you can feel it 😊

I'm not usually a fan of yellow, but damn this is a really pretty shade. It's much prettier in nature than paint yellow :D

Choć to pewnie też kwestia aparatu i obiektywu.

Jeśli masz możliwość ustawienia przesłony (F z numerkiem) to im mniejszy numer, tym bardziej rozmyte będzie i mniejszy obaszar (z przodu) bedzie w fokusie.
