STAYCATION + DOUBLE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION + SURPRISE (PART 1)

Last month was one of the busiest months I've had. From moving from a new team to another to left and right occasions and team buildings and busy schedule at work I lost count. So with that being said, I am gonna share with you a night to remember. We had planned to travel to the south and find a nice beach house where we could unwind and finally get together, but that didn't happen. The fact that I had previously filed a vacation leave scheduled for that day as well as to take some time off for myself because I had been exhausted from adjusting to my schedule left me feeling both sad and shocked at the same time. However, given the nature of our line of business, I can't really complain about this.

So instead of doing that we planned to go on a staycation. We booked a one-night stay at The Persimmons Condominium. This is an ideal place as it is near where our office is located. I was the first one to arrive along with Hanz to check the place. But before we get there we went to buy some stuff needed and bought a cake for our two celebrants. Yes, it was actually a double celebration. Two of our associates were celebrating their birthday that week. But there was another surprise, I will take you to that surprise in a bit.

I did a little room tour and took pictures of the inside and was really amazed at how this place was designed I also love the decoration and the paintings. The room is very clean and smells good which is a good thing for me. The bedsheets are clean and smell good and the towels were clean and fresh.

So we started settling in and waited for the others and while we wait we had fun enjoying some cool music and a good cup of coffee. We knew that they are still at work but we hear a knock and when we open it, it was Ven. We didn't anticipate him to show up because the last time we checked, he was in Bohol after resigning. I'm overjoyed and can't stop hugging him since I miss him so much. He was one of the agents I had concentrated on in terms of scores, and I could see how he developed, so learning that he had opted to quit the company was heartbreaking.

They're finally done with their shifts. So they called to let us know they were on their way, and some of them were at the grocery store getting something we needed (there are still missing items), and because they love to drink, they also bought some alcoholic drinks other than what we had purchased while we were on our way. After an hour or so we were reunited. Though we work in the same building we don't get to see each other because of our schedule so seeing them again made me so happy. They are the first team that I handled for two months and seeing them getting good scores and passing their metrics made me so proud of them really.

This staycation was one of my favorite experiences, for which I will be eternally thankful. This story will be continued in my upcoming blog. Thank you for reading and stopping by hivers, see you around.
