This week it rained non-stop all week. Literally 5 days in a row of rain, storms, very strong winds, floods and a chaos of political situations throughout the country. Buenos Aires is going through political madness since the last president took office and the joy and excitement of winning the world cup is coming to an end. I was working at home all week and also with a lot of things all week, and I missed going out underwater for a while, except for one day when I went out but I got a ride back and forth in the car, I didn't have to go out and get wet.

That's why I wanted to get out and capture some photos of the city in motion now that it's getting dark earlier and the photos that can be captured are really very good. Rain, night and lightning can never be a bad combination to take pictures. I went out in the Palermo neighborhood, which is very nice and I had never taken pictures in that area of the neighborhood, in front of the mosque and on the other side the train tracks of the San Martin line.

It was a very good experience because taking pictures in the rain is not something I usually do. I mean, I have taken pictures in the rain, but I have never taken pictures in the rain. And I was lucky enough to be accompanied by a friend who knows a lot about photography and he started to give me a little lesson on photography, and how to use the phone a little better. I really didn't know how many things you can do with a cell phone. The truth is that now that he gave me this info I started to search and there is really everything about taking pictures with a cell phone and I did not know all this information completely.

After taking some pictures there, I had to go downtown to see a play to which I had been invited so I took some more there too. I was very excited with the pictures I was able to take, although I know I have a lot of room for improvement.

Esta semana llovió sin parar toda la semana. Literalmente fueron 5 días seguidos de lluvia, tormentas, vientos muy fuertes, inundaciones y un caos de situaciones políticas a lo largo y a lo ancho de todo el país. Buenos Aires está transitando una locura política desde que asumió el último presidente y la alegría y los ánimos de haber ganado el mundial están llegando a su fin. Yo estuve toda la semana trabajando en casa y también con muchas cosas durante toda la semana, y me perdí de salir un rato debajo del agua, salvo por un día que salí pero me llevaron y me trajeron en auto, no tuve que salir y mojarme.

Por ese motivo fue que quise salir y captar algunas fotos de la ciudad en movimiento ahora que ya está oscureciendo más temprano y las fotos que se pueden capturar son realmente muy buenas. Lluvia, noche y rayos nunca pueden ser una mala combinación para sacar fotos. Salí por el barrio de Palermo, que es muy lindo y nunca había pasado a sacar fotos por esa zona del barrio, frente a la mezquita y del otro lado las vías del tren de la línea San Martín.

Fue muy buena la experiencia porque sacar fotos en la lluvia no es algo que suelo hacer. Osea, he sacado fotos de la lluvia pero jamás habían sido abajo de la lluvia. Y tuve la suerte de ser acompañado por un amigo que sabe mucho de fotos y me empezó a dar una pequeña clase de fotos, y a usar un poco mejor el teléfono. Realmente no sabía cuantas cosas se pueden hacer con un teléfono celular. La verdad es que ahora que me paso esa info me puse a buscar y realmente hay de todo sobre sacar fotos con el celular y desconocía toda esta información completamente.

Después de haber sacado varios ahí, me tuve que ir para el centro a ver una obra a la que me habían invitado asi que saque algunas mas por alla tambien. Me quedé muy emocionado con las fotos que pude lograr aunque sé que tengo mucho por mejorar.
