My favorite dessert.

Hello fellas, how are you all doing. Hope you qll had a great weekend. It's another week to be positive.

This is not my first time posting here. Actually it is my second time posting on this community. And just like the first time I'm glad to be posting here.

I was browsing through this platform looking for what to write when I
i bumped into this contest on going here. So I decided to jump on it.

Okay so going further without deviating more. Here's me answering the first question:

I'd like you to start out with describing your favorite dessert. Not only the flavor, texture, scent... but WHY is this your favorite? Is there some memory associated with it? Some special feeling?

My favorite dessert is none other than the cake. I'm a big lover of cakes. I can eat them all week without getting tired. As long as it isn't chocolate cake. I don't know why but I detest chocolate cakes.

My love for cakes made me learn how to bake it. Yeahz you heard me right. I bake cakes. Actually the love prompted my desire to learn cake baking. Also one other incident played a major role too.

One time I travelled to my village and for days I couldn't find a place to buy a cake. No shop had it apart from other desserts which aren't my kind thing. I couldn't imagine going days without eating cakes. There and then I vowed to learn how to bake cakes. I started watching YouTube videos in it. Today, although I'm not yet an expert in it because I can't put the icing on it, I can confidently beat my chest that I can bake my favorite dessert for my own consumption.

Infact my last birthday cake was made by me. And that's the picture posted above.

Well I'm still a newbie here. Trying to understand the rudiments, dos and don'ts here. I've been here for 3weeks if not a month.

Have you ever written fiction before? (yes or no is fine! hehe)

Yes severally, in fact I think that's the niche I thrive better in than any other writing.

Are you familiar with Scholar & Scribe (They are SO excited to meet you!!!)

Like I said earlier, this is my second time writing here. So I'm still trying to grasp how it works here.

Are you expecting this to be a fun challenge, challenging challenge,
exciting challenge, or are you really dreading writing publicly? (Be honest - we are here to cheer you on!)

Fun! Fun! Fun!. I expect nothing other than fun. I think every writing challenge is always challenging but in the end reading all the stories turns out to be fun. So yes I expect it to be fun to read other stories here like mine.

Are you going to TRY to go for the 3 part serial fiction (over 3 weeks), the engagement Bingo option, simply stick to SOME fiction this month for Scholar&Scribe, or some other option altogether?

I'm definitely sticking around for that. I'm going nowhere. And I hope to give in my best.
