IT'S THE END OF THE YEAR NOT YOU:

In several days now, the year will come to an end and the new year will begin in Ernest. Many people misunderstand the simple fact that yearly enumeration isn't a yardstick to measuring progress, stagnation, or downgrade.

However, it is found among humans, to always spell out what they seek to achieve before or at the end of every year, some do resolve a change of attitudes, some may have resolved to marry, others might be resolved to graduate from school, some to own a house, car, or achieved one thing or the other. While all these are beautiful things to achieve, we must understand this simple fact that it's the year that is coming to an end and not us. The end of the year is never a benchmark to achieve a thing. Anything achieved at the beginning of the year, or toward the middle of the year is also beautiful and worth celebrating.

While some persons may have achieved all they seek to, remember that we have different timelines, and don't let anyone push you into believing that you have failed, because you have not got to where they are. Run your race and always believe that your day is coming.

We grow at a different pace so let other people's progress be a problem to you. In this period, get what you can afford, and live a life that is worthy of emulation. Very importantly, remember that after this Christmas, there are other ones. And it's the end of the year, not your end.
