A Little Movie, a Little Gossip - Biraz Film, Biraz Dedikodu [EN/TR]

Hello Hive family!
With the entry of winter slowly, coffee, chocolate and movie trilogies have started in everyone. If I make a list of the things that make us the happiest, I think it would definitely be in the top 10, especially if we watch it with the person we love.

Unfortunately, I am a bit of a difficult character in terms of movie taste. I have so many difficulties when I like something that these are usually movies and books. I am especially difficult with movies. Whenever I sit in front of the laptop, I get tired of looking for new things to watch and I always watch the same things. Unfortunately, this has become something like a routine for me. (Usually this routine includes the Harry Potter series, but whatever)

I also wanted to watch different things, partly because of my boyfriend's recommendations and partly because I have conditioned myself to watch different things. I was even thinking of making a nice list for this, and I decided to take advantage of the list that my boyfriend @incublus made for himself in 2017. That list includes very good movies that everyone should watch and that have never been heard of before. I decided to stick to that list except for the movie in today's post and watch one movie every week and then review that movie here.
If you ask why the movie in this post is excluded, the movie I will write about is not on that list (it is normal that it is not), so I wanted to review it separately.

The movie I will talk about in this post is AQUAMAN.

Actually, to be honest, I am a person who watches movies by looking at the cast of the movies a little bit (I need to leave this bad habit as soon as possible), so I wanted to watch this movie a little bit. Because Jason Mamoa, Drago of Game of Thrones, plays the lead role. He was one of the first things that caught my attention (this detail might annoy my boyfriend a bit.) The woman in the lead role is Amber Heard, the ex-wife of Johnny Depp, who has become one of the most sensational names in the Hollywood world in recent months. (Actually, I think she deserved it, but I don't feel sorry for her lately. )

At the same time, with great names like Nicole Kidman and Willem Dafoe, I felt like I owed it to myself to watch the movie.

Let's talk about the movie...
First of all, I would like to mention that the movie is a DC production. Unfortunately, I can't say that it makes a very good contribution to the recent DC - Marvel clash. (The professionalism in Marvel productions is definitely a separate event)

The movie starts with a man finding the Queen of Atlantis, who is thought to have existed in the past, washed ashore on the beach of a town. The reason why I say she used to exist is because Atlantis doesn't exist today. Anyway, after the man takes her home, he realizes that something is wrong because when she wakes up she doesn't act normal at all. Queen Atlanna tells him that she escaped from Atlantis and that she will be forced to marry someone else. The man cannot remain indifferent to this situation and somehow they start living in the same house (if you ask how the man accepts it so easily, the answer is very simple = there is a reality called Nicole Kidman beauty) Anyway, as they live together, the inevitable love flares up between them and our protagonist comes into the world.

While they are living happily, of course in the movie there is a sign that something bad is going to happen and the Atlantean soldiers take the Queen away. She leaves saying that she will come back one day.

Time shifts forward and our protagonist's childhood and adolescence suddenly appear on the screen. Vulko (Willem Dafoe), one of the Queen's close friends, starts to train Arthur (Aquaman). Because he hopes that one day he will unite the bond between Atlantis and Earth.

When he is an adult, he takes on the role of Aquaman - a superhero who solves the troubles of the seas. While he saves people and makes new enemies, his half-brother in Atlantis does not rest easy. He wants to take the reins to become the sole ruler of Atlantis. Thus, he will be able to wage war on Earth, the cause of his mother's death.

This is where we learn for the first time that the Queen is dead. (Honestly, I never thought she was dead, I was waiting for it to come out somewhere during the movie, but this detail was not handled well in my opinion)

Arthur, who was at first unresponsive to his brother's deadly battle attempts, almost losing his father in the last attack pushes him to do something. The appearance of the beautiful Mera in this scene was very effective.(After all, there is such a thing as testosterone, but to tell the truth, if Amber Heard went to divorce proceedings with her RED hair, I think she would impress the judge and get the compensation lol)

Together, our amazing duo make their way to Atlantis and find Vulko. Vulko says that only if he becomes the true king of Atlantis will he be able to bind all living things to himself and end the war. What he needs for this is a golden spear. It is said that whoever gets the golden spear, known as the legend, will be the true king. (I think this is a bit too cliché, almost every fantasy movie has such an object so that our protagonist can embark on an adventure. But now we want to see different things, dear screenwriters, please surprise us)

Just as these events are taking place, they are attacked and they have to flee. What follows is a chain of events in search of the golden spear. In fact, as a result of each event, Arthur tries himself and strengthens his belief in whether he can be a good king or not. Because even though he is the real heir to the throne, he is both half human and a man who has lived in the world until this age. But the Turks have a saying, "It is not known who has the money and who has the faith. In other words, my friends, it is not known who has the qualities of a king.

I don't want to talk about the rest of it too much because I want you to experience it yourself by watching it so that we can chat with those who watch it later under the comments.

If I summarize the positive and negative comments about the movie:

At the beginning of my positive comments; I really loved the places where the world of Atlantis was shown, it looked very realistic. The colors and transitions were very professional. On the other positive side, I have nothing bad to say about the acting, especially the lovely Nicole played the role of the mother very emotionally. (I just don't know when Nicole got so old that she could play the role of Jason's mother. Honestly, I don't know her real age but I think it would have been more believable if she was older).

If I talk about the most disturbing of the negative aspects; Since the action scenes are now ordinary in every movie, you want to see different things. (Although there may be those who say that action is what you expect, but a difference would have been nice)
My last negative comment is that some may say what's the relevance, but it seemed like the sibling rivalry was transitioned from Thor and Loki, but I don't know which characters were fictionalized before. Maybe it is the opposite, if anyone knows, please enlighten me.

Merhaba Hive ailesi!

Yavaş yavaş kış ayının girmesiyle herkeste kahve, çikolata, film üçlemeleri başlamış durumda. Bizi en mutlu eden şeyler diye bir liste yapsam muhakkak ilk 10 da olabileceğini düşünüyorum hele bir de sevdiğimiz kişiyle izlersek tadına doyum olmaz.
Ben film zevki olarak biraz zor bir karakterim maalesef. Bir şeyleri beğenirken o kadar çok zorlanırım ki bunlar genelde filmler ve kitaplar olur. Özellikle de filmler konusunda çok zorum. Ne zaman laptop’un karşısına otursam bir şeyleri izlemek için yeni şeyler aramaktan yorulup hep aynı şeyleri izlerim. Bu benim için rutin gibi bir şey oldu maalesef. (Genelde bu rutinim içinde Harry Potter serisi yer alır ya neyse )

Ben de biraz sevgilimin tavsiyeleri biraz da artık farklı şeyler izlemek için kendi kendimi şartlandırdığım için farklı şeyler de izlemek istedim. Hatta bunun için güzel bir liste yapmayı düşünüyordum ki erkek arkadaşım @incublus’un 2017 yılında kendine yapmış olduğu listeden faydalanmaya karar verdim. O listede herkesin izlemesi gereken ve daha önce duyulmamış çok iyi filmler bulunuyor. Ben de bugünkü postumdaki film hariç o listeye sadık kalarak her hafta bir tanesini izlemeyi daha sonra burada o filmin incelemesini yapmaya karar verdim. Bu postumdaki film neden hariç derseniz bu yazacağım film o listede yok (olmaması da normal) bu yüzden onu ayrı olarak incelemek istedim.

Aslında açık konuşmak gerekirse ben filmlerin kast ekibine biraz bakarak izleyen biriyim(bu kötü huyumu da bırakmam gerekiyor en kısa zamanda) bu yüzden bu filmi izlemek istedim biraz da . Çünkü baş rolde Game of Thrones’un Drago’su Jason Mamoa oynuyor. Benim ilk dikkatimi çeken şeylerden biri oydu. Baş roldeki kadın da geçtiğimiz aylarda Hollywood dünyasının en sansasyonel isimlerinden biri olan Johnny Depp’in eski eşi Amber Heard. (Aslında hak ettiğini yaşadığını düşünüyorum onun için ama son zamanlarda da üzülmüyor değilim. )

Aynı zamanda Nicole Kidman, Willem Dafoe gibi muhteşem isimler de olunca filmi izlemek boynumun borcu gibi bir şey oldu.

Filmin öncelikle DC yapımı olduğunu belirtmek isterim. Son zamanlardaki DC – Marvel kapışmasına çok da güzel bir katkı sağladığını söyleyemem maalesef. (Marvel yapımlarındaki profosyonellik kesinlikle ayrı bir olay )

Film eskiden var olduğu düşünülen Atlantis Kraliçesinin bir kasabanın sahilinde karaya vurmuş halde bir adam tarafından bulunmasıyla başlıyor. Eskiden var olduğu dememin sebebi Atlantis’in günümüzde olmamasından kaynaklanıyor. Neyse adam kadını evine götürdükten sonra bir şeylerin ters olduğunu anlar çünkü kadın uyandığında hiç de normal hareketler sergilemez. Adam’a Atlantis’ten kaçtığını zorla başka biriyle evlendirileceğini anlatır. Bir şekilde aynı evde yaşamaya başlarlar (adamın bu kadar nasıl kolay kabullendiğini sorcak olursanız cevap çok basit = Nicole Kidman güzelliği diye bir gerçeklik var ) Her neyse , birlikte yaşarken de kaçınılmaz olan aşk da aralarında alevlenir ve dünyaya başrolümüz gelir.

Mutlu mesut yaşarlarken tabi ki filmde kötü bir şeyler olacağının belirtisi baş gösterir ve Atlantisli askerler Kraliçe’yi alır götürür. Giderken de bi gün geri geleceğini söyleyerek gider.

Zaman ileriye kaydırılarak başrolümüzün çocukluğu ve ergenliğindeki halleri ekrana gelir birden. Kraliçe’nin yakın arkadaşlarından Vulko(Willem Dafoe ) Arthur ‘u (Aquaman’i ) eğitmeye başlar. Çünkü bir gün Atlantis ve Dünya arasındaki bağı birleştireceği umudu vardır.

Artık bir yetişkin olduğunda ise denizlerde yaşanan sıkıntıları gideren bir süper kahraman – Aquaman rolüne girmiştir. İnsanları kurtardığı sıralarda hem yeni düşmanlar edinirken , Atlantis’teki üvey kardeşi de rahat durmaz. Atlantis’in tek hakimi olmak için ipleri eline almak ister. Böylece annesinin ölümüne sebep olan Dünya’ya savaş açabilecektir.

İlk kez burda öğreniyoruz Kraliçe’nin öldüğünü.(Açıkçası ben hiç öldüğünü düşünmedim , film boyunca bir yerlerden çıkacak diye de bekledim hiç güzel işlenmemişti bana göre bu detay)
Kardeşinin ölümcül savaş denemelerine başta karşılıksız kalan Arthur , son saldırıda az kalsın babasını kaybediyor olmak onu bir şeyler yapmaya iter. Bu sahneden güzel Mera’nın da gelmesi epey etkili olur tabi (Sonuçta testesteron diye bir olay var ama doğruyu söylemek gerekirse Amber Heard boşanma davalarına da o KIZIL saçlarıyla gitse bence hakimi etkiler ve tazminatı alırdı lol )

Muhteşem ikilimiz birlikte Atlantis’e doğru yol alıp doğruca Vulko’yu bulurlar. Vulko , ancak Atlantis’in gerçek kralı olursa bütün canlıları kendine bağlayacağını ve savaşı bitirebileceğini söyler. Bunun için de gerekli olan altın mızraktır. Efsane olarak bilinen altın mızrağı kim alırsa gerçek kralın o olacağı söylenir. (Bence bu biraz fazla klişe geldi bana , hemen hemen her fantastik filmde böyle bir obje olur ki başrolümüz maceraya atılabilsin . Ama artık farklı şeyler görmek istiyoruz sayın senaristlerimiz , lütfen bizleri şaşırtın)
Tam bu olaylar yaşanırken saldırıya uğrarlar ve oradan kaçmak zorunda kalır ikilimiz. Burdan sonrası altın mızrağı aramakla geçen olaylar zinciri. Aslında her olay sonucunda Arthur da kendini deneyerek iyi bir kral olup olamayacağına olan inancını kuvvetlendirmesiyle ilerler. Çünkü kendisi tahtın asıl varisi olsa da hem yarı insan hem de bu yaşına kadar dünyada yaşamış bir adamdır. Ama işte Türklerin bir sözü vardır ‘’Para ile imanın kimde olduğu bilinmez.’’ Yani kimin kral meziyetlerine sahip olduğu belli olmaz dostlarım.
Bundan geri kalanını çok da anlatmak istemiyorum çünkü izleyerek kendiniz deneyimleyin istiyorum ki daha sonradan yorumların altında izleyenlerle sohbet edebilelim.
Film hakkındaki olumlu ve olumsuz yorumları da özetleyecek olursam:
Olumlu yorumlarımın en başında ; gerçekten Atlantis dünyasının gösterildiği yerlere bayıldım, çok gerçekçi görünüyordu. Renkler ve geçişler baya profosyöneldi. Diğer bir olumlu yanı ise oyunculuklara diyecek hiç kötü bir yorumum yok açıkçası , özellikle sevgili Nicole anne rolünü fazlasıyla duygusal oynadı. (Sadece Nicole ne zaman bu kadar yaşlandı da Jason’ın annesi rolüne girebildi bilmiyorum . Açıkçası gerçek yaşını bilmiyorum ama bence daha yaşlı birisi olsa daha inandırıcı olabilirdi.)
Olumsuz yanlarından en rahatsız edene değinecek olursam ; aksiyon sahneleri artık her filmde sıradanlaştığı için farklı şeyler de görmek istiyor insan.(Gerçi aksiyon bu ne bekliyorsun diyenler de olabilir ama işte bir farklılık güzel giderdi be )
Son olumsuz yorumum ise bazıları ne alaka diyebilir ama sanki kardeş çekişmesi Thor ve Loki’den geçiş gibi geldi ama bilemiyorum hangi karakterler daha önce kurgulandı. Belki de tam tersidir , eğer bilen varsa beni de aydınlatsın lütfen.
