A Digital Painting of Homer Simpson

If you follow my blog well, you'd have noticed that Homer Simpson is my favorite cartoon character. I was going through my gallery, searching for a photo of Tom and Jerry I could use as reference for a painting but instead I found this one if Homer I started about four months back but wasn't able to finish. Back then I was just learning the basics (as I still am) and got frustrated at one point because the lines weren't all straight. I however was able to re-make this one again.

I really like the way the writers of 'The Simpsons' have maintained certain characteristics but some changes are still very obvious to a fan like me. For a start, Homer say 'Doh' and 'Why you Little' fewer times than in the first 17 seasons. In other notes, I also miss Luigi doing his Italian accent. He does appear every two seasons or so but I miss him anyway...
