My Digital Drawing of 'Azog the Defiler' from J.R.R. Tolkiens' Hobbit Sequels

Sometime last month, I asked a very close friend of mine of she's seen the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings sequels and to my surprise, not only had she not seen them but she at the time had not heard of it either. I was prompted to ask mainly because of the situation that surrounded our discussion. I had cited an example from the movie and she didn't understand the reference.
I then volunteered to not only see it with her but to explain things that she not only did not understand but would certainly miss till probably her nth time seeing it...lol.

Naturally you would guess that the character she hated most was Azog the defiler. You see, she was one built for happy endings and she feared the "Pale Orc" might disrupt that. She actually cried when Thorin died and I used that opportunity to explain how beautiful death is even though we don't like it, even though it hurts.
As Pyotr Kropotkin once said:

"Variety is life; uniformity is death."

I had a couple of ideas and initially wanted to take a totally different approach from this but the moment my pen touched the screen, I immediately felt like making dashes and seeing how well I'd be able to express them on this beautiful piece.
