My First Pencil Portrait of Jake Gyllenhaal

Not so long I think sometimes last week my brothers and myself were seeing the 2019 Spider-Man movie 'Far From Home' and it struck me that I never made a portrait of the antagonist in the movie who went by the name; "Mysterio". The role was played by Jake Gyllenhaal.

I must confess that I enjoyed the making process of this sketch, it was awesome. Weaving these beautiful layers of lead made me realize how interesting it is to make beautiful sketches using snatches from your mind as well as experience in making masterpieces from not so clear references....
