My Hatched Painting of Lisa Simpson

I've had very little or no time lately to make drawings and so I resort to that which I've already done months back. The piece I share with you today is one of those hatched painting I did inline with the Rods Flanders I posted last year. I still haven't decided how the technique is entirely but I'd like for you to keep up with me on this journey.

This particular piece happens to be a favorite. I gave the reference to a student of mine sometime last year and though his work was good, it wasn't exquisite. Somehow I just had the urge to do something then and ended up with this...
