You can play with a minecraft account (Minecraft Java Edition). But it is realtime gameplay. :)

All builds are stored on the Hive blockchain, so there is a connection with Hive and players also can win Hive Power, but it's not as deeply connected with Hive as Splinterlands. 😎👍
