Today I was thinking about which were the most memorable movies of all time. And of course I may have my tastes on what these movies are that on previous occasions I have thrown out some of the ones that I consider to be quite memorable, either for their plot for their music or for the acting of the characters or the special effects. But in doing a quick search on the internet I was very surprised that the most memorable movies in cinema of all time are movies that were released more than 40 to 50 or even 60 years ago. And that to this day have aged quite well and are simply memorable and have stuck in many people's minds.

That's why I would like to do a series of five posts showing what are these five most memorable movies of all time. And what better way than to start with number one and this is The Goodfather from 1972. A masterpiece directed by Francis Ford coppola and starring Marlon Brandon, Al Pacino, James Caan and Robert Duvall.
