Interest is always the fuel for getting a good result from an effort.

Life is all about input and output, you get back what you give out. No doubt results are always product of one effort or the other, but the question you need to ask yourself is if the effort yields a good result or a bad one.

I believe we all want our efforts to always go the right way and bring forth good results, but life conforms to the principle of change and you cannot expect everything to always align or go in one direction, there always exist negative and positive charges of nature. You simply say that life is not balance but it is just working by principle.

I have learned so much from my experiences why effort can yield either good or bad results. I usually feel that the problem comes from you when your effort is not giving the desired results, always ask yourself some certain questions when this happens.

My experience came when I was about entering the college. I came from a family where everyone specialized in Art, I also developed love for Art and it was my calling, I was good at entertainment. While I was planning to follow my calling, my parents saw the opposite, they believed I would change the family order and move to science where they were expecting to study a professional course in one of the field.

I some how succumbed to the pressure of my parents and decided to put in effort in the science field and I was getting an impressive results. My parents were very happy that this was happening and they thought it was my calling but deep down nothing was impressing me over there, no interest and passion, it was just effort and struggling.

This struggle favoured me and I was able to scale through high school. When it was time to enter the college my parents still wanted me to stick to the plan of studying a professional course so I hurriedly went fo Engineering which I felt I was lucky to be given an admission because I didn't really passed the requirements, everything was just smoothly against my interest.

When I entered the college, during my first year I was able to do well with an average score because we were been taught basic course which was we learned during high school, and I was able to scale through.

But when I moved over to the second year, mu effort was not paying off anymore, the area of interest was nowhere to be found, I moved from effort to another worst thing, it was just struggle after struggle.

I could not tell my parents that I was already failing because they were still judging me by my high school results and how good I was back then, they have also told everyone that there son will soon become one of the best Engineer in town, my parents bragged a lot about me.

The story didn't well but I would not tell it in full in this post, I just wanted to derive a lesson from this experience. Before you decide to put in effort in anything you want to do or achieve in life, you must first of all check your interest level. Effort and interest must be equal if you are to get a good results, or else it is either the good results won't last or the results will be bad.

Effort will always give you results, but your interest will determine if it will be a bad or a good result.

Interest is necessary in every work, if you don't have interest, then the work is of no benefit to you
We should always work hard in the work we are interested in

You have written very well

Where there is no interest and passion results are always meant to be bad, faking it would not help you either.
