In this post, I review 3 comics, the 3 comics are 1 series from start to finish. The name of the comic series is Life Existence. I bought the comics a few months ago, in used condition. As far as I know, this comic series is not popular. But being unpopular doesn't mean it's not good, right? The comic series I read is Japanese comic series translated into Indonesian.
Di postingan ini, aku mereview 3 buah komik, 3 buah komik tersebut adalah 1 seri dari awal sampai tamat. Nama komik serial tersebut adalah Life Existence. Aku membeli komik-komik tersebut beberapa bulan yang lalu, dalam kondisi bekas. Setauku, komik serial ini tidak populer. Tetapi tidak populer bukan berarti tidak bagus, kan? Komik serial yang kubaca tersebut adalah komik serial Jepang yang diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia.

The original title of this comic series is Life Seizon. This comic series was written by 2 mangaka, namely Nobuyuki Fukumoto for the story, Kaiji Kawaguchi for the arts. This comic series was originally published by KODANSHA Ltd., one of the most popular and successful Japanese comic publishers. The Indonesian edition (translated) was published by PT Elex Media Komputindo, the biggest comic publisher in Indonesia, with translation by Isao Arief, editing by Sari, and covers designed by Aji Yudotomo. The comic series genre is mystery, one of my favorite genres.
Judul asal komik serial ini adalah Life Seizon. Komik serial ini dikarang oleh 2 mangaka, yaitu Nobuyuki Fukumoto untuk ceritanya, Kaiji Kawaguchi untuk gambarnya. Komik serial ini asalnya diterbitkan oleh KODANSHA Ltd., salah satu penerbit komik Jepang paling populer dan sukses. Edisi Indonesia (terjemah) diterbitkan oleh PT Elex Media Komputindo, penerbit komik terbesar di Indonesia, dengan dialihbahasakan oleh Isao Arief, disunting oleh Sari, dan sampul didesain oleh Aji Yudotomo. Genre komik serial ini adalah misteri, salah satu genre favoritku.
Discussing the cover: For each volume, there are 2 people on the front cover. Volume 1 has Shintaro Takeda (the main character) and Sawako Takeda (the daughter of the main character). Volume 2 has Shintaro Takeda and Detective Murai (a detective from the police). Volume 3 has Shintaro Takeda and Satoshi Nakamura. Volume 1 has a dark blue spine and back cover, while volume 2 has pink, and volume 3 has orange.
Membahas cover: Setiap volume, cover depannya ada 2 orang. Volume 1 ada Shintaro Takeda (sang pemeran utama) dan Sawako Takeda (anak pemeran utama). Volume 2 ada Shintaro Takeda dan Detektif Murai (detektif dari kepolisian). Volume 3 ada Shintaro Takeda dan Satoshi Nakamura. Volume 1 memiliki spine dan cover belakang berwarna biru tua, sedangkan volume 2 merah muda, dan volume 3 jingga.
Told that Mr. Takeda, the main character, is sentenced to have a malignant tumor that attacks the liver (cancer). The doctor tell him to fight this disease together. But he remembers his wife, who had a malignant tumor that attacked her liver and kidneys, in pain from the effort. His wife died half a year after the doctor's verdict. In the past, Mr. Takeda left his wife, avoiding her. He was also unable to find his daughter, Sawako, who went missing 14 years ago. Not wanting to fight his illness, he feel it will be better to commit suicide. Just as he is about to commit suicide, a call come in. From the police. The news that his daughter was found, who had been missing, in a dead condition, buried in a golf course in Nagano prefecture. It must be murder. There is no evidence pointing to the perpetrator. And also, that was 14 years ago, the deadline for closing a murder case is 15 years, it can be extended if the perpetrator went abroad. The police don't want to do investigation. Mr. Takeda also decide not to want to die now, he want to investigate about Sawako's death.
Diceritakan bahwa Pak Takeda, sang pemeran utama, divonis memiliki tumor ganas yang menyerang hati (kanker). Dokter mengatakan kepadanya untuk melawan penyakit ini sama-sama. Tapi dia mengingat istrinya, yang memiliki tumor ganas yang menyerang hati dan ginjal, kesakitan karena berusaha. Istrinya meninggal setengah tahun setelah divonis dokter. Dahulu Pak Takeda meninggalkan istrinya, menghindar darinya. Dia dahulu juga tidak sanggup mencari anaknya, Sawako, yang hilang 14 tahun lalu. Tak mau melawan penyakit yang dideritanya, ia pun merasa lebih baik melakukan bunuh diri. Saat hampir saja melakukan bunuh diri, ada telpon masuk. Dari kepolisian. Kabar ditemukannya putrinya, yang dulu hilang, dalam kondisi sudah menjadi mayat, terkubur di sebuah kapangan golf di prefektur Nagano. Pasti itu pembunuhan. Tidak ada bukti yang mengarah ke pelaku. Dan juga, itu 14 tahun yang lalu, batas waktu penutupan kasus pembunuhan adalah 15 tahun, bisa diperpanjang jika pelaku ada pergi ke luar negeri. Polisi tidak mau melakukan penyelidikan. Pak Takeda pun memutuskan untuk tidak ingin mati sekarang, ia ingin menyelidiki tentang kematian Sawako.
He do a lot of things for the sake of clarity about Sawako's death. Long story short, he find things that lead to the perpetrator. He is assisted by a kind-hearted detective from the police, named Detective Murai.
Banyak hal yang dilakukannya demi kejelasan tentang kematian Sawako. Singkat cerita, dia menemukan hal-hal yang mengarah kepada pelaku. Dia dibantu oleh detektif dari polisi yang baik hati, bernama Detektif Murai.
Without giving a spoiler how, but Mr. Takeda and Detective Murai in the end find out who the culprit is, it turns out to be someone I didn't expect as a reader. After the person's travel records are examined, the deadline for closing the case is 6 hours left.
Tanpa memberi spoiler bagaimana, tapi Pak Takeda dan Detektif Murai pada akhirnya mengetahui siapa pelakunya, ternyata orang yang tidak kusangka-sangka sebagai pembaca. Setelah catatan perjalanan orang tersebut diteliti, batas waktu penutupan kasus adalah sisa 6 jam lagi.
But, it's not that easy. There is no clear evidence that he is the culprit, causing the arrest warrants to not be issued. Will Mr. Takeda be able to catch the culprit??
Tapi, tidak semudah itu. Tidak ada bukti yang jelas bahwa ia pelakunya, menyebabkan surat penangkapan tak bisa keluar. Akankah Pak Takeda berhasil menangkap si pelaku??

This comic series is a comic series that can be called short or long. Called short because it only consists of 3 volumes. Called long because it focuses on one case, but it is told in 3 volumesβif other mystery comic series like Detective Conan, 1 case is told in several chapters.

The genre is mystery, but not an investigation with a detective as the main character like the story of Sherlock Holmes, Detective Conan, and others. The main character is someone close to the murder victim.

I think the arts are good, but for me personally the arts are not what I like.

Unlike other comics, the flashbacks of this comic series does not have a black background outside of the panels.

The problem solving of this story is good. Just imagine, a teenage case can be solved with something left by the victim a dozen years ago, what is it??? I am not telling you, please find out for yourself...

The moral values ββcontained: β’ don't waste the people closest to us when they are still alive, β’ don't easily trust someone we don't really know, β’ fight for what can be fought for for your child/ren.
β Komik serial ini adalah komik serial yang bisa disebut pendek bisa disebut panjang. Disebut pendek karena hanya terdiri dari 3 volume. Disebut panjang karena berfokus pada satu kasus, tapi diceritakan dalam 3 volumeβkalau komik serial misteri lain seperti Detektif Conan, 1 kasus diceritakan dalam beberapa bab.
β Genrenya misteri, tapi bukan penyelidikan dengan pemeran utama detektif seperti kisah Sherlock Holmes, Detektif Conan, dan lain-lain. Pemeran utama adalah orang dekat dari korban pembunuhan.
β Artnya menurutku bagus, tapi bagiku pribadi art-nya bukan yang kusuka.
β Tidak seperti komik-komik lain, komik serial ini flashbacknya tidak dilatari hitam di luar panel-panel.
β Penyelesaian masalah dari cerita ini bagus. Bayangkan saja, kasus yang berusia belasan tahun dapat diselesaikan dengan sesuatu yang ditinggalkan korban belasan tahun lalu, apa itu??? Aku tidak memberi tahu, silahkan mencari tahu sendiri...
β Nilai-nilai moral yang terkandung: β’ jangan sia-siakan orang-orang terdekat kita ketika mereka masih bernyawa, β’ jangan gampangan percaya kepada seseorang yang tak begitu kita kenali, β’ perjuangkan apa yang bisa diperjuangkan untuk anak.
As a result, if I may rate it, I give it a 7.5 out of 10.
Walhasil, kalau aku boleh memberi nilai, aku memberi nilai 7,5 dari 10.

However, everything changes when he receives news of the discovery of the skeleton of Sawako, his daughter who disappeared 14 years ago. He is determined to find the killer by tracking down his daughter before the case deadline and his life end!
Meninggalnya sang istri, hilangnya sang anak, serta kanker hati yang dideritanya, membuat Takeda memutuskan untuk bunuh diri. Namun, semua berubah ketika dia menerima berita ditemukannya kerangka Sawako, putrinya yang menghilang 14 tahun lalu. Dia bertekad untuk menemukan pembunuhnya dengan menelusuri jejak putrinya sebelum batas waktu kasus serta nyawanya berakhir!
β Vol. 2
Mr. Takeda received definite information about the car used by the perpetrator at the time of the murder. Unfortunately, the car has been dumped into a metal trash shelter. After a long day of searching with Detective Murai, they finally found the car with new evidence!
Pak Takeda mendapat informasi pasti tentang mobil yang dipakai pelaku saat pembunuhan. Sayangnya, mobil tersebut sudah dibuang ke penampungan sampah besi. Setelah seharian berjuang mencari bersama Detektif Murai, mereka akhirnya menemukan mobil tersebut disertai bukti baru!
β Vol. 3
With new evidence from the police, Mr. Takeda and Detective Murai come to Satoshi's house to urge him. Satoshi continued to argue that he was innocent and came up with a strong alibi. Will they be able to get a confession and catch Satoshi before the case deadline ends!? This is the story of the end of Mr. Takeda's struggle!
Dengan bukti-bukti baru dari kepolisian, Pak Takeda dan Detektif Murai datang ke rumah Satoshi untuk mendesaknya. Satoshi terus berdalih bahwa dia tidak bersalah dan mengeluarkan alibi kuatnya. Berhasilkah mereka mendapatkan pengakuan dan menangkap Satoshi sebelum batas waktu kasus berakhir!? Inilah kisah akhir perjuangan Pak Takeda!
