Stats and Abilities

The Queen Mycelia is a low mana legendary with just 1 Magic Damage, 4 HP and 1 Speed. These stats are not increased even at max level.

As you can see, what makes this card really great is its abilities.

Protect - gives 2 additional armor to your monsters

Amplify - increases damage from Thorns, Magic Reflect and Return Fire

Triage - heals your back-line monster that has taken the most damage

Rust - reduces the armor of all enemy monsters

Usage

This card has many abilities that can be useful in different leagues.

If you've been playing Splinterlands for at least a month you probably remember how powerful the monster Venari Wavesmith was in Bronze. Well, now imagine a card that has the same ability (Protect) and costs 1 mana less. Yeah, Mycelia is a very strong option in the Bronze league.

For the Silver, it gets the Amplify ability and starts to comb well with other Earth Splinter cards like Failed Summoner, Centauri Mage, and Venari Knifer, giving you many options to use it. I like to use this card along with Mylor (which grants Thorns ability to all his monsters) and Failed Summoner or Lord Arianthus.

With the Triage ability at level 3, Mycelia becomes a defender of the weakest. I've used it in the Gold league and was because of this ability that I started to like this card a lot. So I have no doubt that it works very well there.

As I've never played in the Diamond and Champion leagues, I can't say much, but from what I've seen in the Top Battles for those leagues, Mycelia is used constantly.

Most of the time you will want to use this card with the Obsidian or Mylor summoner.

Obsidian is especially strong in Bronze, where it has a high win rate. The extra magic damage increases the power of Mycelia and the various other magic damage cards in Earth Splinter.

Mylor is also a great option, as with Mycelia's Amplify ability, the damage done by Thorns will be.. hmm.. amplified. Even in Bronze when Mycelia doesn't have this ability, Mylor is quite strong since the Protect ability is enough for his monsters to resist longer and deal more damage with the Thorns.

Battling

In my opinion, this card works well in both high and low mana battles. Here, I'll show you a general line-up, look this battle (click on the image to watch):

As I said before, I like to use this card with Mylor because of the Thorns + Amplify combo.

I used Failed Summoner as the main tank because of its high HP for its low mana cost, besides of course Magic Reflect.

The Mushroom Seer was chosen in case my opponent used magic damage monsters, which didn't happen here.

Oaken Behemoth as the second tank due to his Reach ability and having 2 types of attack, which gives me a big advantage in battle.

Spirit of the Forest as the last monster to protect my backline from eventual Sneak attacks, while healing my tanks.

And Javelin Thrower for being the best damage option with the remaining mana cost.

That way I prevented myself from all possible enemy attacks. If he used magic damage, the Failed Summoner would be prepared and would return amplified damage to the opponent. If he used melee damage, the Thorns ability granted by Mylor would do the same. Finally, if he used archers, even though it wasn't the ideal situation, the extra armor that Mycelia's Protect ability grants would be enough for at least I have a chance of victory.

Stats e Habilidades

A Queen Mycelia é uma carta lendária de baixo custo de mana com apenas 1 ponto de Dano Mágico, 4 de Vida e 1 de Velocidade. Seus stats não aumentam mesmo no nível mais alto.

Como você pode ver, o que faz essa carta ser tão boa são suas habilidades.

Protect - adiciona 2 pontos de armadura aos seus monstros.

Amplify - aumenta o dano causado pelas habilidades Thorns, Magic Reflect e Return Fire.

Triage - cura seu monstro da linha de trás que houver recebido o maior dano.

Rust - reduz a armadura de todos os monstros inimigos.

Uso de Queen Mycelia

Essa carta tem muitas habilidades que podem ser úteis nas diferentes ligas.

Se você joga Splinterlands há pelo menos um mês você provavelmente se lembra do quão poderoso o monstro Venari Wavesmith era no Bronze. Bem, agora imagine uma carta que possui a mesma habilidade (Protect) e custando 1 de mana a menos. Exato, Mycelia é uma opção muito forte na liga Bronze.

Para a liga Prata, ela obtém a habilidade Amplify e começa a combar bem com outras cartas do Splinter de Terra como Failed Summoner, Centauri Mage e Venari Knifer, te dando muitas opções para utilizá-la. Aqui, eu gosto de usar essa carta junto com Mylor (que concede a habilidade Thorns para todos os seus monstros) e Failed Summoner ou Lord Arianthus.

Com a habilidade Triage liberada no nível 3, Mycelia se torna uma defensora dos mais fracos. Foi jogando na liga Gold e por causa dessa habilidade que passei a gostar muito dessa carta e não tenho dúvidas de que funciona muito bem por lá.

Como nunca joguei nas ligas Diamante e Campeão, não posso falar muita coisa, mas pelo que vi na aba de Top Battles dessas ligas, Mycelia é constantemente usada.

Na maioria das vezes você vai querer usar essa carta com o invocador Obsidian ou Mylor.

Obsidian é especialmente forte no Bronze, onde ostenta uma taxa de vitória bem alta. O dano mágico extra aumenta o poderio de Mycelia e das outras várias cartas de dano mágico existentes no Splinter de Terra.

Mylor também é uma ótima opção, já que com a habilidade Amplify de Mycelia, o dano causado pela habilidade Thorns concedida pelo Mylor será amplificado. Mesmo no Bronze quando Mycelia ainda não possui essa habilidade, Mylor é bem forte já que a habilidade Protect é suficiente para que seus monstros resistam por mais tempo e causem mais dano com a habilidade Thorns.

Batalhando

Em minha opinião, essa carta funciona bem tanto em batalhas de alto quanto em batalhas de baixo custo de mana. Aqui, irei mostrar a vocês uma linha geral de como usá-la, veja a seguinte batalha (clique na imagem para assistir):

Como eu já disse, eu gosto de usar essa carta com o Mylor por conta do combo Thorns + Amplify.

Eu usei Failed Summoner como tanque principal por conta de seu alto HP para seu baixo custo de mana, além, é claro, do Magic Reflect.

O Mushroom Seer foi escolhido para caso meu oponente utilizasse monstros de dano mágico, o que não ocorreu aqui.

Oaken Behemoth, como segundo tanque, devido à sua habilidade Reach e por ter 2 tipos de ataque, o que me dá uma grande vantagem na batalha.

Spirit of the Forest, como último monstro, para proteger minha back-line de eventuais ataques de Sneak, ao mesmo tempo em que cura meus tanques.

E Javelin Thrower por ser a melhor opção de dano com o custo de mana restante.

Dessa forma, eu me preveni de todos os possíveis ataques do inimigo. Se ele usasse dano mágico, o Failed Summoner estaria preparado e devolveria dano amplificado ao oponente. Se usasse dano melee, a habilidade Thorns concedida por Mylor faria o mesmo. Por fim, se usasse arqueiros, apesar de não ser a situação ideal, a armadura extra que a habilidade Protect de Mycelia concede seria suficiente para que ao menos eu tivesse chances de vitória.
