5 Minute Freewrite: supreme court

Once upon a time there was a woman named Sophia. Who was a successful beauty products entrepreneur and owner of a large company. One day, her husband was found dead in their home and Sophia was the prime suspect in the crime. The case was brought to the Supreme Court and the trial began. The prosecution presented strong evidence against her, including fingerprints and DNA found at the crime scene. In addition, several witnesses claimed to have seen them arguing with her husband the night before her death. However, the defense attorney, an astute and experienced man, presented a strong defense. He argued that the evidence presented by the prosecution was inconclusive and that the witnesses were unreliable because of their relationship with the victim.
The trial lasted several weeks and finally it was time for the jury to make a decision. After several hours of deliberation, the jury found Sophia guilty of her husband's murder.
